i have no idea what happened to his FA but in Nov i heard from the lad side they were as interested in him as yamamoto. the price points were always going to be different but what happened to imanaga's market is still the thing that hardest to understand from FA. medical risk is the only thing that makes sense.

there is no replay that shows the tag beating him to the plate and it was very close to blocking the plate. tie goes to runner, so if it's a tie i dont see why they dont need indisputable evidence otherwise - especially if there's also a question as to whether the catcher was blocking and impacted alonso missing the plate in the first place.
3 bad series in a row. jdm had a reasonably slow start last year too (840 ops), they really need him to be another big (900ops+) bat in this lineup.
