havent heard that comp much but it fits pretty good. lamb plays a lot of slot (63% over his career) and is pretty much equally talented making plays in the air at catch point and with the ball in his hands after the catch.
somewhat under the radar ceedee has been a stud from day 1 who has just gotten better each year. also started his career very young like nabers.

That's an interesting comp. At least we can hope to have a stud WR like the Cowboys and Eagles have now.
and pretty much an all pro right away, but considering his youth and this team that's probably unrealistic for anyone in his position no matter how talented.
if you look at lamb's career, he was good from day 1 but just continued to steadily get better. drop rate has basically been cut in half every 2 years of his career even as volume has increased. yards per route run increased every year. tds increased every year. y/c remained the same.
id sign for this exact statline 4 years from now in a nanosecond.
He has a unique ability to maintain his speed when breaking down.
He can do this by the severe angulation he creates from his hip to his knee. His feet are wider than his shoulders and his core is low.
He can widen his base so that it is not possible to determine his cuts. Most players are upright with their feet narrow.

I like that comp a lot better than the Tyreek Hill nonsense I see thrown around. For me it's Hakeem Nicks, but Lamb isn't bad.

I think he could be like Jefferson. Ceedee isn't nearly as quick, fast or explosive as Nabers is. Remember Jefferson played almost strictly out of the slot in college and that's why he made it to the back of rd1.

He will be a problem for DBs
Jefferson is like that too, Nabers just needs to perfect his route running like JJ did in the pros.

It would be about time to put some scare into them for once!
CeeDee Lamb and the WR instructor Delfonte Diamond

agreed. And I think its a very good comp as well. Nabers is a more explosive athlete but he can learn a lot from CeeDee.

What are the odds any player could in camp?
Quote:
that he pops a hammy in camp and starts the season on the IL?
What are the odds any player could in camp?
I'm sure that was a bit tongue in cheek but IIRC that was how both former 1st Round WRs Toney and OBJ started their careers in blue?

Looked it up
Beckham missed the entire preseason and the first four games of his rookie campaign with a right hamstring injury.

I hope we have someone who can get the ball into his hands

Nabers is an electric talent. I just hope we maximize it.
