As the dumbest WR on the Chiefs roster. He's currently being investigated for hitting a photographer at a club in Dallas yesterday. You'd think he'd be smart enough to stay out of the clubs. I guess not.
Rashee Rice is a fucking moron - (
New Window )
It's certainly not smart when you're in the midst of a criminal investigation for a hit and run that put 2 people in the hospital
Kareem Hunt says hi.
I was already at risk with the drag racing/car crash/leaving the scene now I don't see him playing much next year if this turns out to be true.

Tyreek Hill. They keep winning so it gets lost in the shuffle, but they are creating a trend of employing some real POS's. That's not even to mention Andy Reids own family members which is a whole other bag of shit.
Kareem Hunt says hi.
Right, how could I forget that angel

I think Reid was a prison warden in a past life.
And Chad Wheeler.
Didn't Reid's own son go to jail?

He's a tremendous coach, but Reid has looked the other way a lot of times in terms of character. Again, I'm not saying you need a team full of choir boys & we're the same organization that once paid Christian Peter & Josh Brown, but still...
And Chad Wheeler.
Didn't Reid's own son go to jail?
He did, all too briefly considering what he did, but Big Red called in a favor with the governor.
Reid doesn't deserve the jovial family man rep that he seems to enjoy. Dare I say, he seems a bit like a piece of shit.
Toney has not broken the law and his son was not a draft pick.
If you are facing jail time for almost killing people while street racing, I'd say you should do everything in your power to appeal to avoid all negative exposure during the legal process
..
But hey, to each their own...go clubbing and get into fights, I'm sure it won't hurt your cause.
Toney has not broken the law and his son was not a draft pick.
His son may not have been a draft pick, but his son was a member of the coaching staff and he left the team facility just prior to the accident.
So let's recap
- he is the coach's son
- he was a member of the coaching staff
- he left the team facility in an intoxicated state and crashed causing serious injuries to others.
But hey, he wasn't a draft pick

He may or may not be a piece of shit, but it is a real piece of shit thing to say to pile on a guy because his kids are in trouble or cause trouble. His two oldest both had drug addictions, the oldest dying by OD, the second apparently cleaning up until he got into a drunk driving accident and nearly killed a girl. He was convicted and went to jail. Part of his sentence was commuted to house arrest by the Governor. Even if Andy got that done who can blame him? I have certainly pulled strings to help my kids that were in trouble. Not to avoid all consequences, but to try and make sure the consequences were not too severe. And honestly if you would not do that for your kid you are a piece of shit parent.

I can. If his kid killed a relative of yours and he got a favor called in to help his kid from facing the consequences? My mom and dad would NEVER do that. But hey. Good to know you're alike of shit too
But until I comment on how much a favor Reid actually got (or even asked for) or how unfair the outcome is does anyone know how much time people (just any average person) spend in prison for committing the same crime Reid's son was convicted? The governor said Reid actually served more than most people convicted of the same crime. I have not seen that comment challenged or validated. It used to be the job of reporters to do that.
If you don't know the answer to that you are simply reacting to emotions without knowing any facts. It's ok to do that, people are emotional. But if Reid served the same amount other criminals serve for this same crime, then is it really preferential treatment? You may think your beef is with Reid or the governor but it may be with the justice system.
It doesn't make Reid or his son less of a scum bag but it changes the narrative a little with the cronyism/favoritism angle.

Andy Reid has continually put the success of his team and the comfort of his family ahead of the values he supposedly espouses. This goes all the way back to his time in philly. He was constantly getting those kids out of scrapes, like waiving a gun at motorists. This shit happened multiple times. His kids were LARPing in north Philly and all he did was enable them. He was sentenced to twenty three months, sentence commuted, sent to treatment and released. Wash, rinse, repeat. And there are plenty of stories that didnt make the news. Stop using addiction as a rationalization for their behavior. Everyone knows that arguably the most essential tool in recovery is accountability. He does the same thing with his players. Do we even need to compile the incidents? It's a clear patter of placing personal interest above the family, community, and spiritual values he is known for and he should absolutely be called on it.
Perhaps that little girl in Kansas City would have a better life today if someone held Britt Reid accountable. I wonder what time little Ariel's parents hadda get up this morning to ensure she was ready for the paratransit bus. Shit takes longer when you've got a 9 year old in a wheelchair. I wonder how Britt Reid's morning went.
Yet I'm the POS for pointing this out. Right-O.
I've long accepted that moral relativism is a thing, but perhaps the piece of shit is you?

You're on the right track. Vehicular manslaughter and similar charges are definitely NOT sentenced as harshly as you would think.
Killing someone with your car is not treated the same as killing someone in any other way. My from-the-hip opinion is because such deaths are considered as accidents first and viewed thru that lense - which gives the defendant much more cover to minimize their fault. E.g., I didn't see them, they were somewhere they shouldn't have been, I didn't get into the car with the intention to hit anyone, I'm really sorry... Prior history of traffic accidents and license suspensions I'm not sure even add much to this calculus.
Henry Ruggs is probably the most recent famous example. He was impaired, driving 150+ MPH, and killed a woman. Pretty much the worst possible version of such an accident. He was sentenced to a 10 year sentence with parole after 3.
Now imagine what Joe Schmo gets for running over John Doe when the facts of the crash aren't so blindingly obvious.
