Nick Singleton, Penn St RB - thoughts?

Singleton is actually a pretty good-looking receiver. I hope Kotelnicki continues to expand his role. He's a tough runner with that classic one cut ability and then can get north-south with power and speed.

I thought this board would be all over this with comments (which I want) since there seems to be a big PSU fan base based on the Drew Allar thread I started last week.

I think college is adopting the RBBC approach as the new norm so I am not concerned Singleton splits with another guy. Look at Judkins, the Ole Miss stud bell cow that took the portal to Ohio State to split carries with their stud RB. I think the college RBs know they are devalued now so it’s not a dogfight to climb the 1st rd salary ladder. They are taking a risk management approach of avoiding wear and tear at the college level including possible injury. Notice they all run the combine and pro day? As long as the meet height weight and 40 times, and have good college stats even in a time share, they accept that now. The 40 yd times is the end all and be all for them now.

The Oline was shit this year so the backs didn't look near as good as in 2022. Both are solid prospects, but I wouldn't say elite. I wouldn't expect either until day 3

Classic height, weight, speed guy. Really powerful and extremely fast, the home run hitter. He doesn’t have the natural instincts and vision of an Allen though. Allen is the superior football player right now. If he can improve there, he could be a day 2 guy easily. He is going to blow up the combine. As another poster mentioned if he can do more in the passing game, that’ll help him a lot too.

I agree. Allen looks like the more explosive prospect.

I’m confused. From the replies above it looks like Singeleton is the more high potential explosive player.
