Need to get this game. It's time for this team to blow someone out. Way too many close games for comfort. I'd love to see one of those games where the Knicks are draining 3s close to 50% and a wire to wire win. Expecting big minutes from Precious tonight with Mitch done for the playoffs. Let's get it!
The whole world is looking at them. If they were looking at a replay screen, there would be no hiding it. Didn't happen.

um no. You're making that up.
It's one thing to not call some fouls, which happened both ways. But, the Pacers were playing dirty and getting away with it. There were multiple times a Pacers defender launched his body at a Knicks ball handler, making no play for the ball. No call. This is an easy foul call and could go as a Flagrant 1. Nothing.
Counted a number of times a Pacers defender wrapped the back arm around the back of the Knicks ball handler. Nothing. Countless times they essentially clotheslined the mid section swiping at the ball, including a shot to Brunson'
s nuts. Nothing.
People are mad because it's different than what happened with the kick ball that wasn't a kick ball in game one. But, if the officials got together with that call and they took that away, I wouldn't have complained as a Knicks fan as it was the right call. I guess the rest of the officials didn't see that one as clearly as they saw the dribbling here.

This call at least 1 other official saw no double dribble.
I think OG was a foregone conclusion. Just wonder if it gives us hope for the rest of the series that they didn’t announce he was out for the playoffs. Or they are still waiting on MRI results to determine severeness. This is a huge blow, no way around that.
Thisnis why game 2 was so important, gives them a little flexibility when it comes tomorrow, it was going to be a hard game to get with OG and Brunson playing...
up 2-0 allows you to play it a little safe
I think it depends on the kevel of the strain, which hasnt been announced anywhere. Tiki mentioned today hr had heard that it wasnt a bad strain but i dont know what kind of source he has..
I also think being up 2-0 helps them, if they steal one in the next 2 in Indy and are up 3-1, you can sit him for game 5 if he needs a little more rest...
If they could ever steal game 3 and go up 3-0, id almost thjnk about co ceding game 4 and sit Brunson as well
Brunson will be out there tomorrow night. & I'm sure it has been mentioned, but I love-LOVE-how Denver & Minnestoa get THREEE days off between Games 2 & 3 & we get one...thanks NBA.

If Brunson is still sore it would probably make more sense to cede game 3. Let him and OG recover. Let Hart and the rest get a blow and limit their minutes. Let Sims, Burks, Shake, Precious and Deuce go wild. Knock the Pacers around while they’re at it.

Knicks get a few days off after game 5, getting a game in Indiana is HUGE
Id be shocked if the Cavs steal one, unless Garland and Strus have a game where they are lights out from 3
And so I knew OG was good, probably not great, but definitely has been buried in Toronto behind Kawhi and now Scottie.
Him being this impactful was just not even close to on my radar. In my view he's very easily the second best player on the team, certainly the current iteration but even probably ahead of Julius.
You can just tell when he's off the floor the team does not perform as well. He's elite in transition as a finisher, he's elite off the catch, and fucking defensively he's absolutely everywhere. He doesn't foul, he's a team player, he's humble. I'm just thrilled that he's only 26 and barring something totally nuts will be a Knick for another 5+ years.
And then finally last night we saw this epic breakout game that everyone has been waiting for. 10/19, carried the team on offense without Brunson, and most importantly showed a good amount of self creation which is the only glaring weakness.
And then of course he gets fucking hurt, because, Knicks.
But, with all the injury talk today I was just reminded how stoked I am that he's on the team and part of the core.

OG has been my favorite Knick....from the first minute I saw him play for us...look at our record when he plays...

Leon Rose has wanted him for a couple of years, its part of the reaosn why they didnt give everything up in a Mitchell deal, they wanted to have enough to go get OG because they felt he was such a great fit next to stars..
I wanted him last year badly, but he was still with Klutch and there eas no sign of him leaving Klutch...whrn he left for CAA it was a foregon conclusion he was gojng to be a Knick
As far as the injury concern…..oh well. Basketball players get injured all the time. Gotta live with it.
But in terms of legit versatility, there is probably no one else on his tier. Truly great defender. Hope he’s ok.
That would put him around game 6/7
Any concerns about Brunson?
If Precious stsrts that brings in Sims as the backup big and we dont want that..
If Siakim starts cooking you can go bigger if needed

I've been thinking about this as well but the problem is that puts Hart on Siakem, and we run the risk of him then getting in foul trouble. Don't think we can afford to have Hart on the bench for long stretches. But I do think we will see some very small lineups tomorrow. Let Siakem get his two's, but hopefully limit their threes.
KD is such a bitch. I can't stand him. I don't dispute his talent-he's amazing-but one of the most sensitive athletes in recent memory. And those rings he got with the Dubs have an asterisk in my book. He left a team that blew a 3-1 lead in the WCF to go to the team that beat them in that series.... I'll never get past that.
That'd be the equivalent of Jordan signing with Detroit after the '90 ECF.

I know he hasnt been grest but i trust his 3 point shooting, especially with the Pacers most likely going to go to doubling Brunson every possession..

I just think offensively Mcbride allows you to keep that spacing and make Pacers guard everyone..
You will see Precious at the 4 at times, there is no way around it at this point but i think to start make the Pacers guard you on the perimiter and keep the paint open..
and when zprecious is at the 4, he has to take those open 3s they give him, even if he hits 1 out of 4, you have to take them

Agreed, if he's wide open he has to take it and then hit the boards. If he misses so be it, but it's much worse when he then dribbles directly into a crowded paint and turns the ball over. If you're open shoot it or take one step closer and then shoot it.

Doesn’t sound like it
Lock up Jalen now please
insanity but it also means the cap is going to skyrocket
Giannis is already on the books for $74 million in 26/27 and $79 million in 27/28.
With the built in annual raises on max deals somebody is going to clear $100 million in a single season sooner rather than later.
