If the game is PPD, I hope they skip Quintana in the rotation. He's been pretty bad this year.

I've been staying away from the threads, though reading them, as I watch the season develop....too easy to be critical of a team that was constructed with the understanding/hope of playing .500 baseball and remaining relevant into September.
The season will have it's peaks (12-3 after the 0-5 start) and it's valleys (6-10 since), so we better get used to it!
Perhaps when Martinez scrapes off the rust, Alvarez returns, Senga returns, there will be fun baseball as spring turns to summer.
Nice to see Pete break out..before yesterday he looked like he needed a hug; he wears his heart on his sleeve!

Scratch today form equation (postponement) as well as tomorrow (off-day). Let's see what they come up with for Friday night in Flushing against the Barfs. Right now, Quintana's scheduled to pitch on Friday night, with Christian Scott going on Saturday afternoon:
Starting Pithing matchups for Friday night and Saturday afternoon in Flushing against the Braves
The game on Sunday is currently scheduled to matchup Luis Severino (RHP - 2-2, 2.93 ERA, 37 SO) against Bryce Elder (RHP - 1-1, 5.28 ERA, 10 SO).

No prob danny. I share your outlook. Basically, wake me up in three weeks at the third of the way mark and again at the end of June for a more thorough evaluation of this squad. I just hate to throw away years of players in their primes. Nimmo looks pretty good. Waste of a year for him. On the bright side, Marte looks like he's his old self again.
home vs Morton (3.5 era)
home vs Elder (5.2 era)
home vs Fried (4.2 era)
home vs Sanchez (3.2 era)
home vs Nola (3.2 era)
@PHI vs Walker (6 era)
@PHI vs Suarez (1.7 era)
3 games vs lefties including Suarez who vientos has homered off a few times i think. good time for alonso and jdm to get hot hopefully.
if they can get through those 7 above .500 going into the first series with Miami, that would be something i think we'd have all signed for preseason (esp if we knew alvarez/senga injuries).
Detroit signed him to a six year/140 million dollar contract before the 2022 season...ouch.
2018 MVP runner up, All-Star in 2018 and 2019, GG winner in 2019, etc.
And, of course, the Mets traded Pete Crow-Armstrong for him.
Stupid trade, but at least the Mets didn't offer him 100 million to be terrible.
I never liked his game when he was a Met, and I think management thought he was a bad influence on Francisco Lindor.
What happened to this guy? With the Cubs, he was really good....now he's the Tiger's version of Patrick Corbin.
Or Jason Bay, I suppose....

Hated him. He was a terrible influence on Lindor. I still haven't forgiven Lindor fully for that $hit he pulled with Baez against the fans.
