| Became a regular here in 1996, when it was the Big Blue Home Page. Helped form a BBI school of thought, known as "The Realists", along with Mark S., Martin, Joe K., and Jerry (Scarpia). Debated with Eric and others over the competence of George Young in his later years and the struggles of Giants' management in general in the late 90's. Actually met Eric & watched a Giants game with him in DC right after running the Marine Corps Marathon. Proudest (& saddest) accomplishment is watching Eric go from card-carrying optimist to realist.:-) Other random facts: Graduated from U Michigan Med School & still share season tkts, so you'll notice occasional reference to the Wolverine's, the other Big Blue. I run a lot, and I've done 80+ marathons, including Boston & NYC every year. Ran a 2:50 at age 46! |
