When I said to my wife this morning, "What if he backs out and takes the MSU job?" she responded, "Why wouldn't he?"
Two things:
1. Your wife seems to be very negative about the Giants lol.
2. Judge and his wife are both Miss St alums and supposedly he wanted the job. But NFL job of course is more coveted.
and one that I would quite seriously consider if I were in his shoes.
If he goes to Mississippi, we can hire Garrett.
It's a beautiful campus. A broker we did business with down there - years ago - flew a few of us over to the campus in his helicopter. He was an alumnae and very proud of his Bulldogs.
Life style is exactly how you would imagine it to be...But they take their football very, very seriously.
It'd be a dumb decision, but it is his school. MSU has been ranked like 3-4 times in the past 20 years and fired their coach after 2 years. That's an awfully short leash for a school without a history of winning and I doubt the fact that he went there would provide him with a longer one if he didn't live up to the unrealistic expectations.
Pats moving on from Brady.
Pats trading BB to the Giants for the #4 pick in the draft so they can draft Tua b/c Josh McDaniels is the new Pats coach and that's his guy.
Judge/Giants save face b/c Judge takes the NCAA job.
I'll have a Big Mac touched by the hand of God, please.

When Rhule came off the board, would they have followed through on the rest of the interviews or picked their top guy to that point?

Alabama, LSU, A&M, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, etc. ;)
That's all I got.
It's never been more obvious we've become a society of instant gratification. It's unbelievable the lack of self control in America.
It would be great theater. Visions of Belichick resigning from his Jets HC position after one day dancing in my head... ;)

If you consider Mississippi a lifestyle choice. No thanks to Miss, and no thanks to Garrett.

Why nervous? Was Judge the guy you wanted the Giants to hire two days ago?
