Thank you, Klaatu!!!

BlueLou'sBack : 4/28/2020 11:05 am
I've been bitching for over a decade about the Giants failure to address the OL with adequate draft resources, and I guess it could be Judge, Garrett, and other Giants now coaching the team had more influence this draft, but I am thinking Klaatu's almost daily insistence that the Giants FO put away their fantasy games and video boxes of Madden and whatever and truly make some non-sexy moves to fix the OL this year.

I can't remember the last time a draft was so deep at WR AND OL, and the Giants actually ignored the WRs completely until Free Agency and the UDFA signing period.

I have little doubt Klaatu pushed the issue forward in a way that could not be ignored.

Thanks my friend. Go Giants.
I heard that he threatened...

I’m convinced what we did had to be done. Glad we did it and glad Klaatu pushed us along in this regard.
It was about time

It's a reference to the 1951 sci-fi movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still." Klaatu is a humanoid alien accompanied by a robot, Gort, who has the capability to destroy the Earth under certain circumstances. Glad you enjoyed it!

Klaatu barada nikto!
Lou, you've got to stop drinking your own product.
Klaatu : 4/28/2020 11:29 am : link
Do you honestly think I had any influence on who the Giants drafted? Come on, bruh (bruh?), get real.

Besides, I was hardly the only one beating the drum for the Giants to focus on the O-Line in the draft. Torrag, Gatorade Dunk, LBH15 (sic), and a whole host of other posters too numerous to list were saying pretty much the same thing I was.

You knucklehead, lol.
In this case

I agree with BlueLou -- it was Klaatu that put the fear of GOD and Annihilation into the Giants FO

Gort! Gort! Mission Accomplished!

We all know who to blame since Gettleman has yet to respond to BBI. Lot's of pressure on you now.

"Gettleman has yet to respond"?

What the hell do you think Thomas, Peart and Lemieux are? If they're not a response what would be?

SMDH.
K - under the current situational quarantine...

I am NOT stopping to drink vino. My own and others (man does not live on red alone.)
My sources told me

Klaatu actually wanted them to draft running backs in the first 3 rounds, but wouldn't admit it.
Ever since I started reading posts on this site...

I have always loved Klaatu. Great handle and very sharp humor and insight.

Great work, next year request pass rush please.

They're setting me up, Professor.

How so, Klaatu?

When Andrew Thomas busts and Isaiah Simmons becomes an All-Pro, I'll get the blame.
This thread has officially been declared the BBI Winner!

It's JonC. He's really pissed. He wanted Yetur Gross-Matos in the 2nd Round. Klaatu preferred a FS there instead of an ER.
Worst...

If Klaatu Had Any Real Influence...
Jim in Tampa : 4/28/2020 1:19 pm : link
The Giants would have drafted at least one of the dozen or so tight ends he's recommended over the years.

Come to think of it, since he has also started a number of threads over the years suggesting... "Give me (insert player's name) or give me DEATH!" Why is Klaatu still alive?
Why thank you too dear Giant Blue...
BlueLou'sBack : 4/28/2020 1:26 pm : link
And BMac for his sharply hit winning return of service, and Gidie for the set clincher at the net.

Jolly good work, mates!

Now pass the Grog...

Since Slayton started catching the rock and Kaden Smith boarded ship, K has dialed down the heat on the entire receivables department.

The last time he did that they drafted Evan Engram!

Eifert, yes. Kelce, no. Liked Jace Amaro, too.
But only two "Give Me Death" threads.
One for Engram, one for Jack Conklin.

From the Robot's Guide to Creating a Center out of a Guard.
Naw, I'm ok skipping YGM
JonC : 4/29/2020 9:39 am : link
My pain went away when I heard it was a no on Simmons.

I would've picked YGM or Pittman Jr at #36, but understand the value they preferred in McKinney.
I think
Carson53 : 4/29/2020 2:14 pm : link
it was a combination of value/need on McKinney.
