Ex-NFL star Demaryius Thomas has died at the age of 33. Police tell us they found DT deceased in his Roswell, GA home tonight. Early indications are it was a medical issue. No foul play suspected. Rest in peace.
There’s a video from this summer where he talks about his career and the beginning of his retirement.
Looked like he was in good physical health and spirits. You never know what people are dealing with in the background.

It sounds like since the car accident he has been suffering from reoccurring seizures.

I loved following Thomas's career. Great player.
I have a colleague (in another office) who gets chronic seizures. You never know when it could hit him, and when it does, he inevitably collapses and injures himself. The last two times it happened he needed extended hospital stay and surgery to repair his shoulder.
Also 30s and he has a little boy.
Very scary for people with this disease, and their families who love them.

She recovered
FLOJO Florence Griffith Joyner died in her sleep from seizure in her 30's. I believe she still holds the ladies 100 Meter record from the late 1980's.
That guy Billy the dad from the Alaska Wilderness series died suddenly too of one. Its like being struck by lightning, often no warning

I forgot that FloJo died from seizures. It was kinda before my time but I’d imagine that was a massive shock to everyone
