That was great. Some of these bottom of the roster guys playing with that kind of effort is something the Giants have been missing for a long time. From my view on TV he makes the team over Ximines and Coughlin.
That's some Madden cheat sh#t. Did Wink line him up there? If so - Wink is absolutely bonkers and it worked like a glove!
There was a guy lined up on each sideline, essentially facing each other. It also looks like there are only 10 defenders on the play. If there is an 11th I don't see them.

Wink actually lined two players up about a yard off of each sideline....GREAT plan to keep the ball in play in the middle of the field when the Bengals had no time outs left. Couldn't remember if Fox was one of them, I have to go back and look

That’s a great defensive look when the offense is out of timeouts. Stops the 5-10 yard quick outs that move the ball without eating any time. Outstanding hit by the young Fox.
I don't know anything about Fox. Does he have any shot to stick?
UDFA OLB from UNC - had a lot of sacks there (I think more than LT but in a lot more games). I think he has an outside chance esp. if Beavers is out - although Beavers is an ILB and Fox is an OLB. Special teams may be the key. T. Fox - ( New Window )
he run off the sideline to make that play? I still never saw where he was lined up.
They had a guy line up on the sideline about 8 to 10 yards deep on both sides to stop a pass in the flat from getting out of bounds. Good coaching by Wink. I can't remember ever seeing it that pronounced before.
I didn't see where he came from either, best tackle of the night, was the last play of the game!
The kid has flashed a bit so far, he had a couple pressures on the QB as well.
How many DCs would have that setup with a player about 10-15 yards from the LOS and standing right next to the sideline to obviously keep a receiver from going out of bounds if he catches it inbounds. They had no timeouts left.
SMART SMART SMART….WE LOVE YOU WINK! THANK YOU FOR SAVING US FROM ANOTHER YEAR OF BEND BUT don’t BREAK DEFENSE!
I couldn't help but think that that has become the solution to the Bills defensive collapse against the Chiefs. Drop everyone into coverage, give them nowhere to throw the ball, and make them run and eat the clock. I've got to believe that drive by the Chiefs will haunt everyone associated with the Bills at that time, .... forever.
That's what it is all about

Upon further review, it was a textbook ‘de-cleat’ ... don’t see them too often anymore.
Fox just laid that guy out
