I'm not aware of any ball strips he's been victim to this year. I can live with the INTs (shows he's trying), but the fumbles and ball strips of the last few years were drive killers and game killers.
imagine if he got this coaching during/after his rookie year?
He's definitely limited and there's things I don't think he can overcome to get into that top 10 QB pool - but he's very clearly now well into the top 20 QB's in the league despite an entire offseason of arguing otherwise.
I thought he was a QB with good tools when he came in the league but far from a finished product (none are). I thought his rookie year was promising and he had potential if he could develop. I think he failed to develop under Judge and even regressed in some ways. Plus I think the team around him was so putrid I figured we'd lost any chance at him developing into a very good QB.
But his development so far this year has been very promising. I hope he continues to improve. Certainly seems like a guy that will give you everything he has to offer and is likeable.
Jones is looking a lot like a previous Giants QB. A guy that can look very pedestrian for 3 quarters then ramp it up with the game on the line.
Until this season I didn't think Jones had the "it" factor. Maybe he has it and just needed the right coaching to bring it out.
Well, they really have the same demeanor and to a point the same look. I still think Eli was not the most accurate (consistently.) Jones seems to usually throw into such tight windows (and make the occasional stupid throw, but those are few these days.) When we get some receivers back healthy and get a #1 on this team, look out.
How was often DJ put us in position to win games the last couple of years, just to have the defense give up a score in the last 2 minutes of the game. We lost a bunch of close ones that way, as I recall.

Schoen needs to find the formula for keeping 8,26, 20 and 55 in Blue beyond 2022.

It's been fun to watch.
My name...is LEO!
Next few years, he was not the One.
Now, he is beginning to believe.
