that one wasnt on Day. He has a heisman trophy favorite and awesome receivers. The only person thats on is Stroud. You have to throw it immediately. Stroud blew it
who threw that flag for illegal formation on that missed field goal at a minimum needs to be suspended for that flag. That's one of the worst calls I've seen in a long long time. He did not line up over the center
Visiting cousin in Maine. DVR'ing game to watch when back at his pad. We walk into a bar in Portland with two ND fans giving each other high fives after Irish score. Haha.
is based on where the defenders helmet is. It has to be outside of the centers shoulder pad. One of the worst calls of all time. He wasnt even remotely close to being lined up over the center.
Brian Kelly left behind a “great” program, but no QBs. (And there were no QBs last year either.)
They’ve resorted to playing the Lou Holtz/Rick Mirer/Jerome Bettis offense.
Kelly definitely bailed when he knew the talent offensively this year was going to be terrible. Kelly isn't dumb. But the reason the offensive talent is what it is is because he and Rees missed basically 5 consecutive years on QB recruiting
Guy has been a qb his entire life, if he can’t throw a nice ball while standing in the pocket untouched he wouldn’t be a college qb. This is why most fail in the nfl, they can go an entire game and not have to even move. nfl defenses are an entirely different ballgame
...all the money they paid Greg Schiano to come back to Rutgers has worked out. They can only beat the cupcake teams but get hammered against anyone ranked or even not. Shutout today vs Minnesota and going to get massacred next week against #4 Michigan 🙄
opening weekend by Georgia, but is there a hotter QB than Bo Nix?
JFC, he's playing out of his mind.
I mentioned this last week - his stock probably has improved more than any other QB. The ball comes out of his hand just seems like NFL caliber
I was never very fond of Nix at Auburn. He showed some flashes but was very inconsistent. And I never liked his arm.
This move to Eugene, however, looks like the best thing to ever happen to him. He looks very sharp and complete control.
Still more of a project to me, but he's probably turning more heads now.
Didn’t he have 2 picks? I’m not saying he didn’t look good, I didn’t catch much until the end. But I seen enough of that dude at Auburn that I’d stay as far away as possible

I wouldn't touch him, either. Just pointing out how good he looks right now.
Yes, two picks. One was a hail mary on the last play of the half. And the other was a drop/give-away by the WR.
Not crazy about his throwing motion or his age, but he really is producing at such a high level. He's really fucking good.
And Levis is also really good, but this one is going to sting. 3 INTs and has looked unsettled all night, and it's not the first time he's had a rough game. The size, arm talent and athleticism are there. The decision-making...remains to be seen.
Michigan State has no first downs in the second half

Hooker might be on top of the QB board right now as an NFL prospect and - less important - the Heisman.
Totally agree about Levis. I really like everything about his physical ability, but he's had some rocky games. Beyond tonight where Kentucky was completely overwhelmed, Levis has had some horrible 4th quarters - Ole Miss, Miss State, and Florida.
I'll say this. I've seen him play a lot and he's been taking a beating in the SEC.
Ass. He shit the bed hard this game and I just don’t believe in him. Y’all roasted Anthony Richardson for throwing a bunch of picks early on but he’s been a lot better as of late. For comparison sake, Anthony Richardson had 505 total yards, 453 of them passing and 5 TDs combined against Tennessee. Levis had 98 yards passing, 3 INTs and -22 yards rushing. NO FUCKING THANKS.

Not ready for the NFL right now.
Levis will probably get drafted in the first round in the next draft due to arm talent but his decision making is a problem right now.
I'm still on the Stroud bandwagon as the best QB this year.
Not a fan of Bo Nix even though he is doing very well at Oregon.
I wish Young was bigger because he would be QB#2 in this draft.Good arm talent and sees the field very well going through his progressions.
to Coach Bielema at Illinois. Fantastic job at a program where it has been a very long time since they were relevant. I remember the Giants LB's spoke very highly of him and the D did fall off when he left. Good for him.
Lot's of people have called Levis QB 1 but really hard to see this guy transitioning well and certainly not quickly imv.
Interesting to see how the Georgia D deals with Tenn. What a outstanding job that HC and QB have done.
Outside one throw, OSU hasn't done much on offense. Penn St need to play clean in order to compete.
Clifford is a bum against top competition. Kinda figured it would unfold like this.
It’s time to hand the team over to him, well it’s been time already
He’s picked it up. Has made some nice throws since first two drives.
Lots to like for sure. PSU actually has a lot of talent at the position.
They were out of timeouts.
I'll take it as a PSU fan, but horrible coaching by Day.
ND @ Road = Alabama
He looks like he is ready to play in the NFL today. What a talent

As a Michigan fan I’ll take it too b/c I want Ohio State to lose
Their OL getting handled by PSU
Too bad you just can’t keep him as a recruiter…

showing why Penn State wasted money keeping him...

He's not as bad as Cristobal but he's in the vicinity.

They came ready to play today. Gotta give him credit. Still should have kicked field goal 4th and 2 with lead.
We are....

Based on what
Have to wait till 2024 to do it.
Catastrophe...

Is Stroud draft eligible in '23?
So West Virginia is where JT Daniels went...
Their other TE Darnell Washington looks pretty good too. He certainly has the size.

Thanks. Didn't realize he was a sophomore.

Yeah.
With the best football name ever

How much do you think that is Nix?

It’s mostly him. He’s been throwing with precision, and running with conviction.

Close game but #20 Cincy just lost to UCF
And Kansas St did it with their back-up QB.

Agree. With Mayer a close second
So what are your thoughts on 2023 QB crop?

Seems like this has been the pattern for Michigan’s D, playing lights out in the second half.
It really is going to be massive. UT looks great, as does Georgia.

Second "game of the year".
First one was Vols v Bama.
I am fired up to see it.

really struggling tonight against the Vols. Doesn't seem to be seeing the field that well.
So what are your thoughts on 2023 QB crop?
Lots of talent and lots of question marks. And still a lot to sort out.
I think there is a good mix of quantity and quality.
Meh. I’m a PAC-12 fan, and haven’t been OVERLY impressed. He’s good, but 1sr rounder? Not IMHO. He makes a lot of poor decisions.
A bit underrated, IMV. Undersized but has a lot of tools that fit the modern game. Playing for Chip Kelly has brought out the best in him.
If you like Jalen Hurts, DTR is your guy, but a better thrower.
Neither one is worth a #1 pick
