1-0 good guys
I’m sure Eppler is hot on the phone looking to sign another 33 year old career minor leaguer with no MLB experience to bolster our pen.
Now 2 on and 0 out....

LOL...
It is maddening. They should be scoring 5+ runs a game...
They have to give him more days off.
24 batters faced
6 groundouts, 2 flyouts
0 pitch timer violations
5.1 IP
5 H
1 R (1 ER)
0 HR
5 BB
5 K
4.40 ERA
I'm assuming Raley's done after throwing 13 pitches (8 for strikes) getting the last two outs of the 6th inning. He was also used a lot recently by Buck.
+1
"Dan Vogelbach" lol
At this point he'll be on the interstate soon. His last hit was game one against the Phillies?
The 36 million dollar a year man....
Vogelbach is a wasted roster spot.
no matter how good baty, alvarez, vientos look in flashes, it was always enormously likely they'd go through adjustment periods. that's just how baseball is for rookies. lindor is one of the best players in the game for almost a decade now and we all see him run hot/cold. they needed to invest the first half of this season in getting those guys comfortable enough to be consistent, ideally at least 2/3, and right now if anything they are on track for that and maybe even a little ahead.
with the diaz injury and a bunch of vets having down seasons it may be that this ends up a transition year but there is a lot of baseball left and they are literally 1 winning streak away from where the braves are right now. they've been close to putting those streaks together over the last few weeks but the big hit has eluded them vs toronto, colorado, and chicago.
lindor's 389 foot flyout yesterday with nimmo on base had a 65% chance of being a go ahead rbi xbh. instead vlad jr did what he did. sometimes the other team's good players just play good.
