not telling anyone anything they didn't know. but you can now view it a fun way like a baseball season.
Giants, over that span, are 7 games worse than the Lions (ouch). 5th worst in the NFL overall.
Seeing it this way seems like it was worse than it was. lol.
I have not fact-checked this because it seems so plausible I will accept it as fact.

Giants might still be roughly 2 drafts away from becoming consistently good/impactful, even worse if Thibs/Neal do not develop more.
I completely agree!! It really seems like every year we’re in this competition with Washington for last place in the NFC East. I woke up this morning to see the final score on my phone and was not surprised whatsoever although I was surprised to see that we scored points against a very good San Francisco football team.
To this day, I cannot wrap my head around why we stuck with Daniel Jones and why they paid him that ridiculous amount of money. He’s a Pat Shurmer pick. Daniel Jones only has flashes of good play, and the other problem is for the last five or eight years we have not had an offensive line. I remember Eli Manning running for his life pretty much on every play.
I’m not sure what it is about the Giants coaching staff, the general managers past and present and the owners not realizing that in order to have some success, you need an extremely good offense of line to protect your quarterback to give him the time to make the plays. You also need a very good defense and we don’t have either and those people just don’t see it. The only thing that the owners did was try to make a Buffalo Bills 2.0 team in this section of New York because so many of the staff and players are coming from the Bills. When we are picking players for the draft we suck. With Barkley being out for however long you think they would’ve went for snagging onto a running back who has proven themselves who is a free agent and cutting one of the practice team squad guys. Even though he’s not a running back, Derrick White is a free agent. I’m not sure why they haven’t reached out to him or try to get him to come to New York again I know he’s not a running back, but he is a good player. We are three weeks into the season and I’ve already lost all hope just because of the first three game showing. We are almost at the completion of the first quarter of the NFL season and our team is for Doodoo. They are bad. I highly doubt we will see them on TV anymore unless it’s by default of them playing a better team who has not been on one of the primetime games yet. I truly think that if we lose the next game that changes will have to be made at the end of the year with coordinators and players. We need to get some young coaching talent in there instead of always grasping onto recycled coaches, who schemes have been already figured out by other teams. We need to start fresh with coaches that are just starting out in their careers.
I mean take a look at the New England Patriots. What are they doing up there? I know we don’t give a rats behind about the patriots but I’m using them as an example, look what they’re doing. They are keep recycling all of their coordinators who have left the team, gone out and failed as head coaches and have come back and they’re trying to relive the Tom Brady era. They’re laying a big goose egg themselves. If you’re going to make a break from coaches and players make that break and start out with young fresh talent like we did with Eli and Coughlin back in 2004 and stop dipping into the recycle bin.
Thank you for letting me vent on your post. I am a huge New York Giants fan but if it’s one thing that they have consistently done over the last several years is disappoint me on a regular and consistent basis. Your post was said it all. Have a good weekend not only to you but to everybody on this forum and enjoy the rest of the games .
