They know guys looking at their sites will click on pictures of sexy women. As I dont have any preteen/teens in the house, im not familiar with her music at all, so cant really judge if she is any good or not. They are a “thing” in that their agents/“people” are maximizing publicity for a woman who is very popular with, and made rich by, everyone except older straight dudes (i.e., NFL fans) and a guy trying to get into show biz. It’s all extremely canny business.
That said, I think she’s hot as a two-dollar pistol and I even like some of her songs.
Marketing as someone else said. She is in the midst of the highest grossing tour in history and can cross over to more people and Kelce is working on his post NFL career. A fling with benefits
There are plenty of dudes who love the NFL who also have daughters who love Swift. She appeals to many groups
