@ first, I was worried about an emotional letdown following the heartbreaking loss to OSU. But considering Duke's record/ranking + throw in 'GameDay' being there...I think Freeman will have the Irish ready to go Saturday night. Just get me to SC week 6-1. I think we can beat the Trojans @ home.

Many years since Notre Dame could be considered to be a good measuring stick of performance by any team. Now they are very average. Even a top 25 ranking is more of a reflection of what they accomplished in the last century.

I still think we are in if we win out
I don't see a realistic pathway for Notre Dame after that loss. Only if Ohio State wins out and 3 other teams don't have 0 losses.
Seems likely that at least 4 teams will have 0 losses from the following ten teams (these are the AP rankings, not meant in order of likelihood):
Georgia
Michigan
Texas
Ohio State
Florida State
Penn State
Washington
USC
Oregon
Utah
And I realize a number of these teams play each other, but seems likely to have the following be unbeaten:
Georgia
Florida State
Texas
Winner of Big Ten
Winner of Pac-12
im not a believer in Duke yet. They played 3 atrocious teams, but they did beat Clemson. Though Clemson just played an extremely sloppy game and haven't looked good yet. I think ND smokes them
I still think we are in if we win out

As long as Ohio State keeps winning
Duke LT has had light strength of opponent season-to-date, even against Clemson.
Huh? Do you watch college football?
