YA Tittle and Frank Gifford and Erich Barnes and Sam Huff and a bunch of other great Giants players wore the "ny" on their helmets. For some reason, the front office over the last ten years has been abysmal in evaluating collegiate players.

the logo they wear has zero impact on how good or bad they are.

Of course. But I think it's time to swing back to GIANTS. It's been almost 25 years and eventually we'd appreciate the ny more with time.

It should never change and should have never changed to appease NJ. Nothing against NJ, I will be moving there soon. The navy blue helmets don’t match the uniform and was another mistake. I wouldn’t mind switching back to the rest of the 80-99 uniform or something new with blue numbers/letters on the white uniform. But, the helmet is perfect the way it is!

The “ny” logo sucks fiercely. And it doesn’t represent team identity or fan identity whatsoever. A huge chunk of Giants fans are outside “ny” proper.

I don't care much one way or the other. I will say, at least, the Giants color rush being essentially 80s throwbacks, are the best in the league by a wide margin. This is especially true now that it is enhanced with the 80s helmet. The rest of the color rush uniforms are pure trash, not even worthy of cheap video games. Our new/old alternate or special uniform with the 80s home jersey was nice to see.

I happen to like the current uniforms, which are basically throwbacks to the 50s and 60s. I like the change a couple of years ago to the white pants with the blue.

I don't care much what we wear, provided it isn't terrible and/or hard on the eyes. But, I would recommend one of 2 compromises among the options:

1) Switch home uniform to the new/old blue 80s design; Road uniform remain the white/red throwback. Color rush remains the all white 80s look being worn this Sunday, with the 80s dark blue helmet and GIANTS logo.

2) Swap only the helmet to the 80s GIANTS logo and darker helmet color.

Like The Gentleman said above' GET RID OF THOSE LOSER PANTY HOSE WHITES AND BRING BACK THE GRAY ONES WITH THE RED STRIPE.

The GIANTS logo is a good script symbol. Script symbols belong on the chest, not the helmet. GIANTS was on the chest from 2000-2004 and should have staid that way. I don’t think any other team has the same logo on the chest that is on the helmet, they have their script logos.

The ny symbol would be just as iconic as the Yankees and Mets/baseball Giants symbols if they never changed it. Just writing your team name on the helmet is/was so unimaginable.

I happened to grow up with the GIANTS helmets, but as a young kid I saw the ny worn as throwbacks in 94. My dad showed me his old Giants stuff and from that moment I knew what the REAL Giants symbol is.

I can also make the case that the red is the real white uniform. Those are the originals, they are the jerseys we won two iconic super bowls and nfc championship games in. The same uniforms we also defeated the 15-1 Packers in and won the 56 title in and played in the 59, 61, and 63 title games in. But, I always liked the blue numbers better, and wish it was blue from the beginning (exact opposite of the blue uniforms, like 67-74 without the cuffs) and that like the Yankees they were never changed. But, we can’t go back in time so I think keeping the ny helmet with the 80-99 uniform is the best option. Then don’t change it again!

But the mis-match actually looks cool. The funny part is that the reason it was that way in the 80s/90s was that they couldn't nail down the exact blue that was on the jersey. Funny, but it works.

Well from 2017-2022 the giants had the worst record in the league. THE WORST. So it didn't matter what the hell the Giants were wearing, they were losing at an alarming rate.

That logo popped up in the 70s, where we had a few bad years but then we drafted LT and rest is history. Perkins to Parcells. Our defense isn't good enough for the wordmark

First off, the Giants used to have "ny" both on the chest and the helmet also. I fail to see a problem with that. Second, off-hand, I can think of at least 1 other team (Bengals) that used to have the script logo on their helmet. Third, the Giants essentially only use officially, their script logo, whether it be the "ny" or "GIANTS". Again, I fail to see why this would be a problem.

Until they start to play better.

Eh. The current white on white with red stripes and blue helmet is easily my favorite uniform ever. I love the GIANTS helmet when we switch it up, but the NY is the best for me.

Don't think there's a need to change it unless they wanted to do it like 4-5 times a year instead of 2.

and I grew up the Giants "script" logo. They should go back to the red trim the new jerseys are boring. And Gray pants would be good too I suppose...

we can’t go with a bold fresh look like other teams have done. I’ve been a fan since the days of Tarkenton and Ernie Koy so I understand tradition but let’s get away from tradition and bring some excitement back to this franchise

They don't now, but the Bengals used to have "BENGALS" on an orange helmet. Granted, that was a long time ago, but did happen

Didn't like the V-neck or "GIANTS" then, don't like it now.

The whole GIANTS thing only came into existence because there the NYC authorities were in a snit over the Giants leaving the five boroughs for New Jersey. That spat is long since settled. And that GIANTS logo is boring anyway.

The current uniforms will look better with a better team wearing them.

I really dislike the road uniforms. I wish our color rush was the standard on the road. Also agree that a darker shade of blue would be better. But that's just my opinion.
