Talkin' Giants - Skinner believes Myarick to return at TE

Listened to his postgame pod during a run yesterday, and he believes that Chris Myarick's release from IR means he's healthy and that it's likely a precursor to his being re-signed to return as blocking TE. Not saying he has sources, but it made sense to me.

can sign with any other team right now, but he cannot be immediately re-signed by a team that waived him off of IR.

What's the waiting period/window for return to the same team after release from IR? I've looked around and can't seem to find it.

Keeping Shepard over a blocking TE was a weird move (when 2 of your 3 TEs are big WRs Waller & Cager).

all I could find is this: "The player is then free to sign with any team at that point but may not sign back with the original team until the length of the injury settlement has concluded as well as an additional three weeks."
