Denver vs Houston.....which team is for real??
San Fran vs Eagles should be a good one
Game of the year so far IMO.
Green Bay win really pushes their chances of making the postseason and still puts them at fighter's chance to win the division. They're fun to watch despite all the negativity from earlier in the season. Young receiver group and Love is getting better as the season goes on. Defense has been playing well.
Kansas City needs it desperately as they've underwhelmed this year. I guess that's what they get trying to rife the Kadarius Toney train which fell off its tracks when he got hurt on a ST drill in training camp.
Sun. night game looks good too. GB is in upsurge right to make playoffs. Also getting some guys back from injury at right time.
im also rooting for cardinals as a hedge.
I would love to see SF drop into Philly and get revenge for last year's playoff game. However, as they mentioned, Philly will use the fact that as 3 point underdogs, at 10-1 they are disrespected and probably come out flying.
They use slights the best of any team in football.
As for KC-GB....any game in December at night in Lambeau is must watch. They are calling for snow showers and seasonable....should be fun watching Mahomes do his magic.
What stupid bullshit is that? Why are the Jets on Fox ffs!!!
Fucking Jets...
Fins 7-0.

You're not missing anything in New Orleans, 21-0.
Forget that. You might see some Denver/Miami type of shit in this one.
Tank Dell carted off for Houston
He is done for year now.
2-0
I seriously think he might be one of the worst 5 starting QBs in the NFL. He is horrific.
Ha, geez. Eli did that once against the Eagles and he stared right at the CB before throwing it.

Could be. Based on Carr's few throws he has a few more picks in him today.
I seriously think he might be one of the worst 5 starting QBs in the NFL. He is horrific.
Because they are tanking. They will finish 4-13
2-0
Saw this a few days ago and didn’t know this. Desmond Ridder is 1-6 on the road as a starter with ONE touchdown pass and NINE turnovers.
Or is that just me? Is he another Daniel Jones held back by everyone?
Haven’t watched Carr very much this season, but he’s been a massive disappointment in the little bit I saw.
Yep, I believe that too. 5 QBs may go in top 10...
Or is that just me? Is he another Daniel Jones held back by everyone?
Another shitty QB making too much money.
News to me lol
Fins 24-7.
Jets kick FG
thts was tehir ceiling.
the injuries, coaching, offseason, DJ performance etc
caused that to not happen.
theres no major talent gap with any other team in the NFC besides lions, 49ers, cowboys, eagles.

No.

They traded away both Young and Sweat. They probably know it.

No
Agreed.
Yeah the non-stop flags over the last 15 minutes has been absolutely ridiculous. The Jets are getting screwed
Chargers with a whopping 6 points. And only got 3 after that long PR put them on the 25. Yikes.
Good luck on that...
the backup QB market too - wilson, mac jones, garrapolo.
minshew seems like a great bridge QB for us in 2024.

Seriously why the hell would we commit any money to.minshew when we have the 40+ million dollar man coming back.
It's funny now all of the ass-kissing Sam Howell got before and during the Giants game like he was the next best up and coming thing.
Hard to be so bad offensively with him and Breece Hall, but the Jets are capable of anything.

daniel jones in no gtd to be ready for opening day.
you need to draft/sign a QB.
Imagine what his stats would be if he actually had an NFL-level quarterback throwing to him on a regular basis
24-21 now.
Are you seriously rooting for the Giants to make the playoffs Drew?
He is fantastic. Respect to the young man.

That falls squarely on the shoulders of the Head Coach. Saleh is defensive coordinator. Nothing more.
For the draft it's good for the Giants if the Jets and Tennessee win.
Not half the distance. It's where the foul occurred, and if in the end zone, the one rad line. And if there is 5 or 6 seconds left there is time for a quick slant that, if incomplete, will leave time for a FG.

They are quiet tanking. How does a clearly cooked Zeke keep out touching Stevenson?
Their pass blocking isn’t particularly good either
That has to be an historical record...
Lol
Lol
That's logical
Keep in mind, the Giants barely won those games

It's a joke. Stop being an asshole. Herbert has been no great shakes, has an overall losing record, and should be a lesson. Too bad you won't ever learn.

Yup. Not that Saints, Rams, Packers are world beaters. But they have functional offenses and capable QB play. Plus defensive playmakers.
Belichick still knows defense. He just stinks at everything else in scouting, offense and roster management.
Well, I guess we have the next Herbert and shouldn't worry about the draft.
I'm curious. When does the QB-winning-the-game-as-the-most-important-stat apply?
Thunderstorms I guess
Missed kicks hurting Giants draft. First the Pats, now this.

Of course it’s not the most important stat for a QB. But are you actually trying to say they can’t be held accountable when they score 6 measly points? With an offense that has an elite RB and WR? If NE had an NFL level QB, LAC would have lost today.

Ugly game. And Herbert made a key throw at the end to seal the game and had no turnovers. He did his job.

Meantime, Philly's oline is handling 49ers rush easily. That is pretty impressive. Thought Bosa and gang would be all over Hurts.

I want both Eagle games to mean something
It s a win, win for the Giants.
Maybe they pull off an unlikely upset, and actually damage Eagles’ seeding, or it prevents meaningless Giants win against an Eagle team not trying that would hurt Giants draft status

Daniel Jones had to play this 49er defense with Matt Brieda starting and Josh Ezeudu at LT.
Comical how so much better this 49er and Eagle team is better all over. Both Purdy and Hurts are talented but the people around them are outstanding.
I m hoping
He's great
He can work over a defense. I don’t like his arm. But when it comes to the mental processing of the position. I have no doubt Shanahans influences there but Purdy plays the nuances of the position. Using his eyes, audibling, reading through defensive coverage.

It’d be one thing if Philly lost a close one late but to get their asses handed to them at home giving up close to 300 yds in the second half is surely something for them to be concerned about. It also has to be a huge confidence boost to the Niners and puts them right there for home field now. But yeah, no biggie Greg. Lol

It's about watching a player who's going through all his progressions and sticking in the pocket. From my untrained eye, he looks very good in that area.
Would he go through progressions if the minute his back foot hit the ground someone was in his face, that s what I m getting at.
He looks great,
But I sincerely don’t think he would on the Giants and this has nothing to do as a defense ofJones
And the Daniel Jones Apology Tour shows up. Purdy accurately reads the defense, throws accurately and with great anticipation. Wake us please when Jones does any of that.
I asked a legit question, and your retort is the same old nonsense.
It’d be one thing if Philly lost a close one late but to get their asses handed to them at home giving up close to 300 yds in the second half is surely something for them to be concerned about. It also has to be a huge confidence boost to the Niners and puts them right there for home field now. But yeah, no biggie Greg. Lol
It is always better to get blown out so that you can blow it off as just a bad day. Olsen isn't wrong IMV and I'd bet he is looking at it as he would as a Pro.

His Philly love is embarrassing, and basically saying today is no big deal and easily dismissed is crazy talk.

Sure on the outside you can just blow it off but deep down you know if you were getting your ass beat, and that’s gotta stick in your head.
Same way if you know a guy can’t cover you or block you, there’s no reason for that not to give you confidence and have that carry over.
And there are a lot of cheap players starting and contributing...
Browns bailed LA out. They had just run the ball down the Rams' throats on a 13 play 75 yard drive for what should have been the tying touchdown.
Missed the extra point, but defense got the ball right back on a 3 and out with 6:30 left in the 4Q. Plenty of time for CLE to rely on the running game (and some short passing from Joe Flacco) for another scoring drive to win it.
But no, first play of the drive, Flacco heaves it 50 yards downfield and Rams intercept and return it 40 yards. That was pretty much the game.
Just in time to beat the NYG next week

Yeah but getting bad that bad - AT HOME no less - has to sting beyond one game. Especially when they dominated the first quarter.
