They really threw the book at Plax wrecked his career.
People are literally get away with murder now.
He wrecked his career. Every think what could have happened if the gun was oriented differently? Plax is lucky he isn’t still in prison, and all those patrons are lucky he shit himself and not them.
Yea, the two are easy to confuse... Possessing a gin and murder. What a perfect parallel. Whats next? Getting kick out of a strip club is the same as rape?
Man I love that. Eli was so excited to throw that pass he had to hold back to not do it too early. He knew Burris was breaking wide open.

Acctually he just talked about it on Kay Adams show. He didnt know Plax was going sell the slant, he threw the fade route thinking it would be a 50/50 Ball knowing it was cover 0 but ball was in the air before he knew Plax was wide open.
RE:you can beat up a cop now and get no bail and runto California
The name is spelled differently, and I think he was born ever before the Giants won the Super Bowl in February 2008. At that point Eli and Plax had been teammates for 3 seasons and not won anything together. I don’t remember them being so close they would start naming their children after each other.
I remember a TD vs Jets where he caught a short out and turned upfield on the sideline. The safety came over to knock him out of bounds and bounced right off of him . He didn't even move . At 235 lbs he was like a train going downhill . Many are compared to him but all fall short .

Plax said after worsening his injury that week we wasn’t 100% sure he could make the cut for that sluggo, but knew it would get open from film on the DB that he tended to flatten near the goal line. He figured if this was where he was going to damage his knee, so be it. This was for the ring.

Great story, love the Burris comment. Sold out to win it, the catch certainly made his career. Its constantly shown, he was wide open. The ball felt like it was in the air for 20 minutes.

Lol this is like the Chris Farley scene in Billy Madison where he keeps walking back claims of hooking up with Veronica Vaughn.
Quote:
Bus Driver : That Veronica Vaughn is one piece of ace, I know from experience dude. If you know what I mean.
Billy Madison : No, you don't.
Bus Driver : Well, not me personally but a guy I know. Him and her *got it on*. Wooo-eee!
Billy Madison : No, they didn't.
Bus Driver : No, no, no they didn't. But you could imagine what it'd be like if they did, right...?
Paulie Walnuts: You can murder people in NYC and get away with it for real for real.
Actual NYCer: No, you can't.
Paulie Walnuts: Well, you can just walk around with an unlicensed gun and wave it around and maybe fire off a few rounds and no repercussions.
Actual NYCer: No, you can't.
Paulie Walnuts: My father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate saw someone shoot a guy at 31 Flavors last night and the cops gave him the key to the city and money for lapdances.
Actual NYCer: No, they didn't.
Paulie Walnuts: But you can imagine if they did, right?
the issue with Plax is they did not want to use any discretion but instead wanted to make an example of him with NYC having mandatory minimum sentences for gun felonies. It would be interesting to know if DAs use more discretion now than back in 2008. I would not be surprised if they did.

I can dream.
People are literally get away with murder now.
Umm, no.
If it happened today he’d get Mets tickets for showing to his court date.
