the Kennedy commercial. It was surprising and interesting, and that retro style was really well executed. This is not meant to be political in any way, it just was a really striking spot.

+1 that was a commercial they will study in advertising for many, many years. Not getting political, the branding was extremely effective to low propensity voters.

I found it rather pathetic.
Kennedy apologized for the ad this morning BTW.
This. Ripped off the original and pissed off the entire family. And who wants to watch political ads during the Super Bowl?
Well, it was a total ripoff from the ‘60 commercial.
Wasn’t that the point! It was to Brand him and tie him to his family as opposed to any political position. I can understand why his family is upset, but any apology today will just be irrelevant in terms of the audience it reached last night and the imagery it helped create. Again, not getting political, but only speaking about the commercial as an effective advertising piece, I thought it was brilliant.
When I saw the commercial the thought that came into my mind was the "name you know" from that old Eddie Murphy movie the distinguished gentleman. "Vote for THOMAS JEFFERSON JOHNSON the name you know"

Exactly. It was genius and let the world know that there is a strong candidate running for president from the independent party

Supposedly RFK jr had no input into the commercial, it was paid for by one of the political PAC's
Yeah the Dunkin commercial with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, JLo, and Tom Brady was my favorite.
Hope we get to see these commercials in the future. Seems to me a lot of these Super Bowl ads are one offs, after the game their gone....

Yeah, I liked the Walken commercial too. I saw 1 write-up that trashed it, which was head scratching to me.
I was waiting for the punchline in the Kennedy one.
