Hell of a lineman. Bummer that he had to play next to that piece of shit Flozell Adams, but I digress.

Allen was a hell of a guard. Possibly the best of all-time.
Happened in Mexico

While on vacation with his Wife. Good God. I can't even imagine being on vacation and waking up to that. Absolutely heartbreaking

If there was a VIP room at the Hall of Fame, he’d be in it.

that I saw play than him.

Too young
Best offensive lineman I ever saw
Greg from LI : 6/3/2024 12:11 pm : link
He was great at both tackle and guard. Strahan said he was easily the strongest lineman he ever played against. Can't believe this, he was way too young to go.
Bench pressing 700 lbs lmao

Agree. One of the most physically dominant athletes ever. Very sad news.
One of the few Cowboys who I respect and also feared when we played

him. Love Justin Tuck's story about playing against him.

He is in the elite class of the football elite.

Passed away too young.
He was insanely good. Way too young. RIP.

Most folks don't know that Larry was the Pride of Sonoma State !

Here's Larry bench pressing 700 lbs.

Larry chasing down a defensive player (probably 100 pounds lighter), to save a intercepted TD ....

He was Superman. Rest in Peace, big guy.
RIP

He may have been the 2nd best player I've ever seen behind LT.
Terrible.

Much too young. He was easily the best OL I ever saw. I think he was the best OL in NFL history. Aside from his insane strength, he was phenomenally agile. And as Greg said, he was fantastic at tackle as well as guard. RIP. God bless. Prayers to his family and friends.
RIP - left too early

What a freak of nature - could have gone to HOF at all offensive line positions except Center.

Kinda wild that the Cowboys had the two best guards of my lifetime in Larry and Zack Martin.

The amount of talent the Cowboys have held over the last 30 years is insane...Larry Allen, Erik Williams, Zach Martin, Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Mart Tuinei, Mark Stepnoski, Andre Gurode, Nate Newton...

I hated the cowboys but sure over many of those players on those teams. If they were any other team (aside from eagles) I’d have been a fan.
