Finally obtained Darius Slayton's revised incentives from a source. Skipping the start of the offseason program produced very little for Slayton. He can make up to $650K more in incentives, but it will be a major challenge to reach the thresholds to trigger that increase.
Slayton's incentives are separated into the three major receiving categories: Catches, yards and TDs. Within each category, there are three thresholds to trigger a bonus (see the chart below for the specifics). In the new deal, Slayton gets $50K more for the second threshold and $100K more for the third threshold in each category. He also got a $350K Pro Bowl incentive added that wasn't in the initial contract.
Note that the incentives in each category aren't cumulative, so the most he can receive is $600K in each category. So that's $1.8M plus the $350 Pro Bowl incentive for a total of $2.15M compared to a max of $1.5M in his previous contract.
The Giants actually gained $200K in cap savings because Slayton earned $200K in incentives last season for hitting 50 catches (50) and 750 yards (770). Those thresholds were bumped up above his 2023 totals so they will be classified as Not Likely To Be Earned this season for cap purposes. He didn't lose any money, but it became a little harder to reach the same incentives this season.
It's unclear if Slayton will collect the $350K workout bonus in his contract. He was required to attend 84.4% of the offseason program to collect that bonus and he couldn't have reached that mark after missing the first five weeks of the nine-week program.

Hold out
Demand more money
Get hurt in mandatory mini camp
All the while there’s a buzz about 3 WRs ahead of him. Looking like he will be WR4 at least to start the year.

and with Robinson in the room, he's not even the "old pro" to mentor the young guys anymore.
Won't be many NFL secondaries that can match up either.

Teams that are decent with decent coaching will be able to match. The running game won't be as good as the past. The OL while better is not thought to be much more than slightly above average but that is a bit of a stretch.
And the QB is below average with injuires a concern. At best you call him a peak/ceiling-average because of thw WR's if Nabers is terrfic. We do expect he will be but still Jones is at best average. That's not his floor.
Remember, they didn't withhold money from Xavier McKinney after his sports bike accident.
