When Death Wish came out in 74' crime was just outrageous in NYC. The midtown theater I was erupted in cheers like nothing I ever saw before or since as Bronson gunned down those thugs.

I recall my dad telling us people were standing and giving standing Os when he saw it. Odd asshat aside my dad worked w Bernie Goetz as he was a PSEG in NI and he was a contract engineer.
