Kadarius Toney on the roster bubble to make Chiefs roster

NYG27 : 7/11/2024 2:26 pm
With the top 4 WRs on the Chiefs roster being Hollywood Brown, Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice and Justin Watson, there is potentially only 2 more spots available for their WR group.

Reports out of KC are stating that Toney might be a roster casualty unless he gets his act together and focuses more on football than off the field options. Toney is competing with Skyy Moore, Mecole Hardman, Justyn Ross and Nikko Remigio for those last 2 spots.

What might work in favor for Toney, might be a potential pending suspension for Rashee Rice but that's not a lock.
Probably

My most disliked Giants player ever. A complete moron on and off the field.

Right, you could point to him and say whatever he does, do the opposite.
I’m bored with piling on Toney, it’s too easy, but
81_Great_Dane : 7/11/2024 3:37 pm : link
I will say this: He’s got a ton of talent but doesn’t seem to want to play football. That tends to earn the contempt of fans, players and coaches alike.

You don’t want to play football? Fine, then don’t play football. Get in or get out. Half-hearted effort just pisses everyone off.
No way… for ST alone he should make the roster

With the new kickoff rules, I don’t give a fuck how much of a head case he is or how dumb he is… fuck learning a playbook… “can you catch kickoffs?” Dude should be a beast with the new kickoff rules. Still one of the most elusive players I’ve ever seen. Should have been just a gadget/ST guy, never should have expected him to be WR1 type at all

Dipshit team will give him a chance, not that he deserves it. He has been given a golden opportunity with a HOF coach and QB, and he'd rather not give a shit.
And he did get us Waller

...so that was awesome
Really doubt he makes the roster

They don't trust him. Nor should they.

To be fair, there was a rumor that Gettleman didn't want him, but Judge insisted.

KT flopped here. No doubt about that. But hat pissed me off the most is how he kept taking shot after shot after after shot at the Giants. It was like he was a jilted lover.
Every time I see the name Kadarius Toney

I'm reminded that Gettlelman stupidly passed on Micah Parsons just as he stupidly passed on Josh Allen.
"Never give up on talent"..

said too many people here when referring to Toney.

If you cannot excel in a system with Andy Reid and Patrick M., then maybe you are not an NFL WR.

You can’t

What talent really?
mittenedman : 7/13/2024 8:27 am : link
He’s dangerous with the ball sure, but he’s mentally challenged, small, weak, and has suspect hands. And injury prone/soft. Can’t pick up a playbook.

There really isn’t much to work with.

Yes, but he’s getting paid a lot to not try very hard. It’s a great job to keep as long as you can.
