I know he has not been perfect, but what GM is? Even the great Howie Roseman screwed up down the stretch a lot last year adding has been thinking they were the missing links.

It seems to me people are comparing his looks and how he carries himself versus Gettleman. Based on that, Schoen looks and sounds the part. Otherwise, I struggle to see much difference...
I think a big part of Schoen's career hinges on how Burns produces and how Neal develops. If Burns is the 8 sack, 40 pressure player he was in 2023, Schoen is going to take a lot of heat. Same if Neal washes out completely this year.
