As measured by Relative Athletic score (RAS)in 2024, ....
https://draftwire.usatoday.com/lists/nfl-rosters-athletic-ras-2024/
Note - KC is #13 7.497 out possible 10.0 points
So, does that mean that we should expect more than six wins, this season ? (7.75 out of 10 possible)
Colts are #1 - 8.39 out of 10.0 possible
Eagles - #2, 8.00 out of 10.0 possible
This isn't surprising, they've draft some uber athletes under Schoen: Banks, Theo, Bellinger, Thibs, Nabers etc. were all near 10.

I want to repeat this even if I'm the 11th guy to do so.
The talent and speed between what Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll came into and what they currently have is pretty remarkable. Of course, they still have business to do next spring as well, but they're moving in the right direction.
what does that tell you?
That while we all like to drool at RAS comparisons -- it really doesn't mean much as a prediction of caliber

5th most athletic and 5th most talented.

Yes, but it's definitely better to be more athletic than less. Under Reese and, Gettleman the team became very slow and unathletic.
Give me the guy who tests fast and plays fast. That way if you do make a bad read you have the athletic ability to recover.

not exactly, i believe this ranking is based on 90 man rosters right now, not the 53 man rosters teams had last year or any year prior.
the bulk of the 49ers starters last year (CMC, Kittle, Aiyuk, Deebo, Bosa, Fred warner, arik armstead, etc) were top tier RAS.
That’s Nubin
The RAS is a comprehensive look at athletes' relative abilities.
The RAS is a tool to identify superior athletes and to identify those athletes who do not have the prerequisite skills at a given position. There is a baseline that every player needs to achieve at a specific position.
There are problems with the RAS.
RAS relies on data from third parties. Some of the data is inaccurate, inconsistent, and from unreliable sources.
RAS is a snapshot in time. The data is primarily used for drafting purposes and is not updated to represent the NFL player. Barkley is noted as having a 4.4 forty.
The data does not take into consideration injuries. If a player like Nubin was recovering from an injury the data does not distinguish itself.
When rating a team's RAS it should consider starters and reserves separately. You can have backups who have low scores distorting the analysis.
Performance is what you do with those cards. As I noted, KC (who is well postured for a Super Bowl three-peat), is ranked 13th best.
What separates them "from the rest" is a bunch of dudes who want it more and two old farts who know how to win - Andy Reid & Steve Spagnuolo.
Just for "shits & grins", here are the RAS scores for the Giants 2024 draft class -
https://giantswire.usatoday.com/lists/2024-nfl-draft-ras-scores-for-giants-6-player-class/
Malik Nabers - 9.57
Tyler Nubin - 3.72
Andru Phillips - 8.13
Theo Johnson - 9.92
Tyrone Tracy - 9.78
Darius Muasau - 5.73
Guys like Nubin defy logic and scientific calculation, they squeeze every little bit out of themselves all the time. They are very easy to root for.

Now we need to see if that translates to on the field results.

agree
We have a lot of athletes - that’s great. If they don’t have the talent to play football, this team will keep losing.
The Giants are not anywhere close to the 5th most talented team. Athleticism does not equal talent, no matter how many times Manny tries to pretend it does. Mahomes doesn’t “want it more” than Jones. He is just a far better QB.
Mahomes - 8.22; Jones - 8.12 but I would argue that given similar circumstances "Superman" Patrick Mahomes (weakened by an ankle injury and battered by the Bucs in Super Bowl LV) looked very mortal and vulnerable.
That was a one-off by Mahomes, but that's a way-of-life for Jones, under the environment he has had to toil under, in his time with the Giants.
Anybody think Mahomes could be Super Bowl MVP, if he had to endure an 85 sack season ?
That having a pile of super talents (what-ever your definition is, there-of ) does Not mean you're going to have a winner.
It's mostly a mental thing - that's why I mention Reid & Spags. Yes it's Xs & Os, but more than that - putting people in situations where they can best succeed, understanding individual motivations, mechanical techniques, key reading and much more.
