But whoever it was on NFL radio was probably as surprised or disappointed I should say that I was they didn't address the interior DL in the draft, not at #6 but later on.
Injury was reportedly a partial foot fracture and there was a line about it a lisfranc. Hopefully for the young man it is not something to do with compartment syndrome.

im pretty sure it's a jones fracture and those are just not good injuries for 300+ pounders. he and mckinstry both had the same issue and were likely why the giants had visits with both of them even though they were predicted as late 1sts. medical issues like that likely had them off a lot of boards.

I wouldn't have been mad at al if they drafted him. Pair him with Dex on the inside with Burns and KT on the outside. That's a nasty front 4. Playing up to their potentials would make life difficult for opposing QBS.
