My son, who is 12, has shown a reluctance to get into football and sports in general. I thought it would be a good idea to show him what its like to go to a game, tailgate without breaking the back and getting mad if he wants to leave at halftime. So my wife and I thought lets try preseason.
Prices for decent tickets (midfield 100 or 200 level) still seem a bit pricey. When is the best time to pull the trigger on these tickets? A day or two before the game starts as season ticket holders that have no interest in going want to get something for them? Also the Stubhub fees looked really high. It was over $120 for 3 tickets. Is there a better way to do this without going the private sale route?
Thanks
Usually giants Washington games are more affordable so I buy extra tickets for those games for the kids.
I would buy tickets day of. Also look at what is happening at the stadium they usually have player signing auto graphs so that part could be fun.
Just something to think about if first time experience. If giants jets game it is different
