The post game press conference in Chicago or the consecutive QB sneaks inside their own ten yard. Either are among the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed in sports. Captain Queeg moments for sure...

The crazy part is midseason there was still sentiment that Judge had the team showing enough competitiveness to earn a 3rd year. He flat out talked and coached his way out of town those last couple weeks

Until Judge went completely off the rails, John Mara was all set for a Kevin Abrams-Joe Judge football operation.

I was all in on Judge going into the '21 season. After that Bears presser, I was all out on him. That was one of the more bizarre pressers I've ever listened to.
Are in a much better spot now with Daboll, obviously, than the 2021 coaching staff. Of course, the personnel decisions are improved.
But a part of me is curious how 2021 ends if Daniel Jones hadn't gotten hurt. They weren't a playoff year but they were 4-7 despite a really tough first 11 games. Toward the middle of the season, they faced LAR, KC and TB. Three Super Bowl caliber rosters and the Rams game was with a concussed DJ. They were a fluky penalty (Lawrence offsides penalty on the last sec FG) vs. Washington from being 5-6 in those games.
Barkley, Golladay, Toney and Shepard were all missing key time in this time too and they were to be key contributors. Relied on Booker and Pettis, to name a few.
The offense completely fell apart after that Eagle win with Jones.
I thought Judge was suspect when I first saw him address the press
That ill-fitting suit was really, really odd. I've been accused of being superficial in my judgment of people, but sometimes superficiality is not wrong.

Yeah, I heckled him so badly behind the Giants bench at that game. I got pulled from my seat.
2022 was 1979.
2024 is 1981 and Malik is…
One can only hope!

you’re a good man for that.
It was all downhill from there.
He talked like Tarzan and coached like Jane.
