Shout out to Robbieballs... had the comment of the day for camp thread, my interpretation:
Everyone relax about QB. Nobody would have bet the house on DJ taking reps at this point. Clear focus on feeding Nabers today, and he's brand new...no chemistry yet. Important whether DJ is making correct reads, and none of us know what that is. Like Mora said "you think you know, but don't know, and you never will"
Yesterday the report gave kudos to Hawkins III for being sticky, then today Skinner and crew have said he's had a terrible camp... I prefer to trust the perception of the former rather than the latter.
But that's just it; Perception. Lets all relax a little about every detail.

The source of the Hawkins report yesterday was Schmeelk.
But remember, there are a ton of things going on on the field and only so many eyes.
But you have to keep it in perspective. It's practice and there are many dimensions to it. Take it in stride, and with a grain of salt, and don't mistake it for the real thing.
I don't see him on the injury report but Morrissey was at starting C?
As it indicates, Morrissey was the starting center late in practice. JMS was the first team center up until that point.
And why was Morrissey in at C? That's my question.
If it's Daboll rotating guys in again instead of sticking with the starting 5, I am not a fan of that. Especially on day 3. Why prioritize depth scenarios over getting the starting 5 ready?
Rooting for Turbo. I was thinking his best chance to make the team would be to beat out Olszewski for PR, but haven’t heard a lot about him in that capacity. But he seems to be doing more out of the backfield than I expected at this point, so maybe………
Nick McCloud might turn into a valuable piece in that secondary.
Jordan mentioned on his pod that Phillips is not getting as many reps as they are featuring McCloud and Isaiah Simmons in the slot.

I'm sure they have. In mini-camp, the returners were RB Devin Singletary, RB Dante Miller, RB Tyrone Tracy, WR Ayir Asante, and WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

The joint practices will be a different matter.
