We've endured McAdoo, Shurmur, Judge, Gettleman, and wasted top picks on players like Flowers, Eli Apple, Engram, Daniel Jones, Baker, Toney, and Evan Neal. And don't even get me started on the innumerable games where we either lost by halftime or blew incredibly winnable games (Coughlin wasn't exempt from this either...remember the 2010 Eagles game?).
When will our fortunes change? We wait all year for the season to start and we get so disappointed so quickly. It's just so disheartening.
There's no organization in place to appropriately scout, acquire, train, and coach talent. It needs to be ripped down to the studs.
This. IDK if it's the Giants'way, but it's the Mara way. They seem to be incapable of running a successful business. The next hiring decision will be as bad as the last ones, and so on down the line. And the way the NFL is, they can continue to make a fortune just by showing up.
They all seem to get along well and can make some great small talk during dinner according to Hard Knocks, but has that group been shaken up much?
I cut the game off at noon and went rock climbing and got a drink on a rooftop with a lady. great fkn day
This year seems a bit better, for the record.
I've had my fill of love
From below and above
Tired, tired of being admired
Tired of love uninspired
Let's face it, I'm tired!
I'm tired
Tired of playing the game
Ain't it a crying shame
I'm so tired
G*d dammit I'm exhausted!
Blazing Saddles: I'm Tired - ( New Window )
Amen.
KT makes some plays here and there to tease you, but he goes AWOL way too much. Those are the types of players you just can't trust. And that shouldn't be rewarded - right now - with a second contract.
Yep. Then, we have to read in the draft threads fans pretending that these are good/great picks, and if you say otherwise you get bashed. Happens every year.

This is the baller move.

Thank you (regarding 5). I also think Banks is heading in that direction too, but he could be a solid cb#2.

You score better than the NYG?

don't be so dependent on NY Giants football to make you happy.

I mean, what lady wouldn’t be ready to put out after hearing a riveting story about how you successfully climbed a rock earlier in the day?

We don't want him back on a second contract. That guy's a passenger.
He could be worst than Evan when it’s all said and done
Amen.

I could understand if Giant GM'e were reaching into later round talent to take first round guys, but pretty much everyone agreed those two were top 5 worthy.
Then they get here and they're underperforming.

There were a few on this board who were wary about Thibodeaux, including Terps.
I think the Giants won't win until Terps stops practicing voodoo.

The exact thing I heard from a few coworkers who were big Ducks fans was that Thibodeaux was a smart kid who didn't love football and would be thinking about the next stage of his career the day he got drafted.

Banks is flying under the radar because the whole team is a disaster, but he hasn’t been good.

I can’t wrap my head around both Thibodeaux and Neal being disappointments. These guys were major college talents and both were mocked as #1 picks by some. So both are bad? Really?
This is one development that leaves me rubbing my eyes.

Neal was a better college player than KT. Yes, he had issues that Sy and others outlined, but his tape was consistent.
KT was not. I was pretty anti-KT leading into that 2022 draft and said so repeatedly. I watched a number of Oregon games that year to get a better feel for him and he would do the same disappearing act we see now. He would be dominant for a series or quarter, but then it was right into the football witness protection program. I really piled on when video surfaced about how much he wanted to build his brand... ;)
I feel the same.. but time is ticking
