9 Teams are

Big Tom : 9/16/2024 11:55 pm
0 and 2..And that includes Cincinnati and the Ravens..Can't imagine how those fans are feeling.
We are not by any means picked to win our division, but those 2 teams have high hopes..
Well there's 0-2 and
D HOS : 9/17/2024 12:12 am : link
... then there's 0-2. We're like "oh for the love of god" and 2

"oh you have to be f'ing kidding me" and 2

"oh what in hell are we going to do now" and 2.

Like that. It's a different kind of 0-2.
0 and a bunch............

What are the odds those teams go 0-7 or 0-8? We could.
Ravens losing to the Raiders

Is a bad loss. Bengals loosing to Pats is not great but they start slow every year.. Jacksonville is the one to watch though. The expectations there were high and if they keep losing I can see a coaching change coming..
A lot

Of teams are going to have “bad losses” to the Raiders. That is a tough team. In the mold of their coach
Feeling better now

thanks big Tom
Not only that

The Giants are in a situation where the rest of their Division are all 1-1. They are only 1 game out. The season hinges on beating a very beatable Browns team on Sunday. I know they have a solid defense, but offensively they are beatable. Get to 1-2, and the season is far from over.
We are in the new pre-season in the 2024 version of the NFL

I remember reading Coughlin's book and at that time he said it took a good 3 to 4 weeks to know what kind of team you had for any given season. That statement is definitely even more true now with the way the preseason is currently constructed. We won't know much about any team for a couple of weeks still.
The Ravens

and Bengals have good coaching and QB, something we don't.
How can there be 9 teams that are 0 - 2
ConsistentGiantFan : 9/17/2024 9:53 am : link
After the 1st game there were 16 losing teams.

After the 2nd game among the 16 losing teams regardless of who they played there will be 8 losing teams.

Well, I just looked at the NFL standings and there are 9 teams that are 0-2, so I guess it can happen.
So nobody is energetic or smart enough to figure out
ConsistentGiantFan : 9/17/2024 6:03 pm : link
the discrepancy. The math appears logical.

I got Lions and Rams reversed on WK1, which gives us the 9th 0-2 teams

On Giants Huddle (though an oft repeated one): September is the new August. With the Giants in particular, tackling tires is not like tackling professional football players. Of course, all teams have the same excuse (0-2 or not), but the 1st 2 games are looking more like the last 2 pre-season games, where starters get their feet under them. The Browns game(especially with a PK) should tell us a bit more than we know now.
I like the notation

After N games played:

TeamA/TeamB

(TeamA record after N games played) (TeamB record after N games played)

I realized why this was incorrect. All 16 losing teams from week 1 didn't play each other in week 2. Some did so it wasn't possible for all 16 to go to 0-2, but it's possible (obviously) for more than 8 to have
