I expect a low scoring affair. I think we could win-Cleveland is no juggernaut-but as that poster across the pond said, I'm in the 'I'll believe it when I see it' mindset.
I thought NYG may win partly because it's hard to go 0-3. Teams typically fall themselves into a win at some point. However, this is a tough defensive front and I see a big struggle from Jones. Offense doesn't do much.
RE: Giants 35 Browns 13. Jones has 4 passing td's anad the Giants
But I sincerely doubt Cleveland's offense goes above 20 points. They have a bad QB and are weak at offensive tackle. Stop the run and they'll be okay defensively.
Daboll will probably be using more 12 personnel and it's a good gameplan. Maybe throw in Jakob Johnson for some interior runs. Garrett isn't 100% but he's still a fantastic player and so is their LB unit. Tough defense and they play aggressive. Jones will be required to make smart throws and the WR's will face some man coverages. I'm confident in guys like Nabers and Robinson to beat that. So, make it happen!
We once again fail to crack 20 points and fall to 0-3
But I also see another, the one where we seem to live in most of the time, where they crash and burn.
If they lose this one and then fall to Dallas four days later, my oh my, this will get UGLY. They better make a statement this week, then stand toe to toe with Dallas. I'm not sure if they have it in them. I take anything Raanan says with a grain of salt. But if true, how about instead of "losing the locker room" over your coach, maybe they actually tackle someone this week.
We'll see. My Sundays no longer revolve around this team.
Season is over with a loss IMO, so I’ll go against logic and call it Giants 17-10.
To keep it crazy, Giants end up tied for first at 1-2 with CowPukes, Iggles, and Commanders.
They will pressure Jones and have 2 excellent cover corners with Newsome/Ward. Pressure will come and I dont see Jones beating it. CLE OL will wear down the front and they will rush to victory.
Feels like the game where Deshaun Watson remembers how
on their OL. And with our shaky secondary, Watson is going to have an opportunity to attack downfield. So, this is yet another chance for him to find his old form.
I have a feeling he just might...
Factor in Cleveland's D advantage, and I think this is a potentially difficult match-up.
Cleveland 23
NYG 16
I remember a game in Cleveland when Eli was QB and our team was
Super Bowl strong. We were favored and everyone including the national announcers were lauging at the then Cleveland Feeble Browns.
We lost 34-17. A game we were supposed to win.
Well....back to Cleveland in a game we are a touchdown underdogs.
I will go with the same score: Cleveland 34 Giants 17.
O man I remember this back in 08 pretty sure the fans were chanting "overrated". I got a kick out of that considering how big of a joke that franchise is.

Yup. A MNF game if I recall. And I remember those ‘overrated’ chants.
Until proven otherwise, the Browns well-coached D will easily humiliate us, and their anemic offense will walk up and down the field completing 80% of their passes, and Bowen forgetting to spy Watson on 3rd and long.
Cleveland will run the ball on the edge, taking advantage of a "Bend and Break" defense. The benefit for them is taking pressure off of Watson, and limiting the amount of time the Giants have the ball.
The Browns on defense will take Nabors away by double teaming him and making Jones go to his second and third reads. That will allow their defense to get to Jones, and probably create some turnovers resulting in short fields for them.
The Giants will HAVE to establish a running game, or it's lights out for them. They can't let Cleveland dominate Time of Possession. The Giants offense isn't good enough to overcome turnovers, either...but this defense is a major step up from the Commanders.
Watson plays his first good game in years against the "get right" giants. Fading the giants until they prove otherwise. The offense showed improvement against a bad defense. Maybe they build on that, but I see no reason to be optimistic about the defense even against the hapless Browns

The Cleveland get right game.
Let's say Giants 13-7. The defense is embarrassed and shows up. The offense is just overmatched.
Singletary 100 yds
Defense gels in second half
Not disappointed.
Cleveland 20, NYG 3
Get back to practicing Daniel. No wonder you have struggled so much your first five years. Too much time on BBI.

Jones with 3 TDs and one is a long one to Hyatt.

Brown's 24-10 winners.

If they can't, there's no use continuing with it.
