the Yankees have been in the ALCS without having to face Houston since 2014. So it's the best chance they get back to the WS since they last won in 2009.

It just depends. I say they have the best chance this year to get to the WS since there's no going through HOU or BOS. CLE is definitely beatable but all the pressure is still on NYY and the big bats (looking at you Mr. Judge) need to show up otherwise nothing good will happen. CLE has tough lefty hitters so our SP needs to be on spot.

Once in the WS, LAD would be extremely tough, although NYY has played them well last year and this year. NYM are a team playing with house money and reek of that team who gets hot and has the cinderella story. I think they swept the Yankees this year.

I'd rather lose to LAD than the NYM. But get to the WS and then we'll talk again based on how the ALCS goes.

So to answer your question I'd say 50/50. :)

They've been around since at least 2008. I think Scott Podsednik was the first to use one.
