I actually find this funny and good for Mara. He was in an awkward situation getting heckled. What’s the point of winning Super Bowls and having the rings if you can’t point them out at times like these?

If he was in a setting like an interview being asked about today’s team and did something like this, fine. Otherwise I don’t see the call for outrage here.

Personally, I don't think any owner of any sports team owes me anything as a fan. I chose and choose to be a fan, I chose and choose to spend my money on the team.

Never understood the fascination with sports owners and what they say/do unless it’s something illegal. I have nothing in common with them other than I watch the product they put out each week, so I don’t care how they conduct themselves as long as it’s legal.

Mara just needs to eat it and walk away. Even if that was ever a good strategy, pointing to rings that are over a dozen years old when you have been literally the worst team in football for the last dozen years is really not a good look imo.

He also said one of the dumbest comments of all time which was "we did everything we could to screw up Daniel" which is directly responsible for half of those dozen years of poor football. So, he can point all he wants, that doesn't change what a disaster he has been over the last decade.

It looks like everyone was having fun to me.

I'm surprised too, as that doesn't seem to be the "Giants way." At the same time, I don't give a shit. I'm more concerned with his insertion of his opinions on player personnel that has clearly impacted decisions.

You had giants fans cheering and Seahawks mocking, looks to me like he harmlessly played into that. Jim Irsay was/is an addict. Not sure how the two are at all relatable unless I’m missing something about Mara’s past.
