Steelers HC Mike Tomlin, whose team beat the Raiders two days ago, and now will have a Sunday night matchup vs. the Jets: “I was getting ready for Davante Adams last week. I’m now getting ready for Davante Adams this week.”
Don't think enough is made of his above .500 streak

Imagine watching Bill Cower walk out the door, and the guy replacing him is somehow an improvement. A marginal improvement, but an improvement on a HOF coach.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the family...

He is an underrated HC, in my opinion. He's been around so long he is often afterthought in HC conversations. But, he hasn't had top talent in a long time, yet is always competitive.
Amazing coach

Never had a losing record. Team is always ready and plays the brand of football we grew up on. Has the stones to switch from Fields (they do have a winning record) to Wilson because he sees the big picture; who gives them a better chance to go deep in the playoffs. HOFer, easy call.
Imagine they have had 3 coaches in 55 years

and each has won at least 1 SB. We have had 4 coaches just since Coughlin left less than 10 years ago.

They are both coaches I wish the Giants had. Their winning percentage is close. The difference is Cowher had mediocre to ok QB play for a large part of his career. His problem was not being able to make Superbowl and win the likes Kordell Stewart or Tommy Maddox. Tomlin is dealing with that now.

They've ve had 7 losing seasons in the last 52 years. We've had more in the last decade

I don't know about this last part.
Wilson is cooked, and has been for a long time.

However, if I recall correctly, one condition that Wilson had for coming to Pittsburgh was he was going to get a chance at the starting role. I think long term Fields is the answer. He's looked better than with Chicago.
