Bad thing for Gmen, Patriots now score on first drive leaving only Philly to not score any points on first drive. Please let that stat stay that way one more week.
I thought hiring Neilsen as DC was a good hire but their defense has been awful.
Close to complete? The Pats roster is pure trash

And Pats rebuild will be close to complete in just a year or two span and in a division with Jets heading into rebuild, questions on Tua and Dolphins overall.

This is the NFL of today. There is no such thing as stacking talent and total domination through rosters. They have some defensive pieces, they’ve drafted a few young OL now that need seasoning. They have lots of cash to spend on FA next couple years. A good draft and some additions around Maye will make a huge difference. They have the QB.
The rest of the roster is awful. Jacksonville making them look silly.
I don’t think you guys fully comprehend just how dreadful that roster is. Maye should be fine. But the rest of the roster is one of the worst you will ever see. Next year? Not a damn chance

if Maye hits, Pats start competing for the division as early as next year.

It’s happening now in our division (and a year early). It’s the NFl, franchises change on a dime, how many times do you need to see it to believe it?

I do. I’ve watched the Giants embarrass themselves stacking bad decisions in rebuilding or ignoring rebuilds or obvious bad decisions the last 12 years.
As for Pats, given their honesty with their decision making and roster rebuilding - I’m not saying they are a contender in 2025 but they might be close to doing so in 2026.
Belichick ran that team into the ground personnel wise.
Seems pretty realistic. Sure they have a ton of holes to fill but if they have a solution to the. Biggest one at QB then they can certainly become a better than .500 team easy. They need to fix the OL above everything, looks worse than us the past couple years. Their defense is solid and in good shape, a strong FA and draft and they can certainly be in the mix if Maye keeps progressing.
Re-read. The point was if Maye is the goods (aka, he currently isn’t but has showed signs).

NE as a contender for next season, they went from a 10-0 lead to a 25-10 deficit

Even if he does, this team is a long way from winning 9-10 games next season
The Commanders allowed 30ppg last year and scored 19ppg, how’s that looking now?
get to with in 8..
so stupid.. But hey Analytics!!
Wish we could get one someday.

Joe Thomas with the dumbest explanation for why you go two now. None of it made any sense..

Nothing compared to what Pederson did
How does it look good? Did he get Maye? No! So he recognized that Maye could be a good QB? He's a real genius! But did he do his job and get Maye? No. And we get another year of Jones.
For those who want a QB in this draft, if the Giants do decent on their record, pats are the team to go after their draft pick. They have to trade down and will have a top 5 pick.

Yet we are still stuck with Jones.

Browns are clowns.
Ben Johnson really must be something else
Slayton for Mahomes. *grin*
Mariota with two TDs. An actual decent backup QB can help a team, go figure.

And Washington is leading 34-0.

Not sure about the second one - but they were in FG range to take the lead.

Sure but are you confident a Jones-led offense can hang 30+ points on them?

He’s right. It’s low to cheer a guy getting hurt.

Won't find me giving any sympathy to rapists.
