This team has one glaring and massive problem and it’s the QB. And this problem ruins everything else. There are other holes on the team but the reason they’ve been losing is the QB.

There are areas of the team that have been bad at times, but if they had a QB who was playing average to above average, I have no doubt this team is at least above .500 right now.

But I'm seeing creeping "Jones isn't the only problem" discourse in that rant.

blah blah blah.. The reason we get exposed is because NOBODY fears our QB.. NOBODY.. Think about it:

Bengals had the 26th ranked defense and came in to our stadium and held this offense to 7 points! I don't want to hear missed FG's that is what a loser says.. We do not score TD's- PERIOD!

Cowboys- gave up 40 plus to the Saints, 30 plus to Ravens and 40 plus again to the Lions. We got 15 points- 5 FG's... Their defense was bang3ed up and lost more folks during the game..

Daniel Jones is a perfect fit for our STD motto as he is literally the Quarterback equivalent to herpes... He is embarrassing, we try to hide him, we sometimes are in the clear and have a good time but mostly we are sad and restricted by having him as the QB!

3 fumbles between Singletary and Tracy. THe OL has been up and down. The WRs have been dropping the ball all season. And guess what? Daniel Jones sucks, too. It's all bad.

Both of those are true statements, and yet somehow I'm going to have no memory of the game in about a month. It won't stand out among the rest of the demoralizing embarrassing losses over the last decade. Throw it on the pile.

O-line, QB play, Play calling, Etc for a so called offense coach.
Don't give the conspiracy that the powers that be are making Daboll play certain people or not letting him shop for the groceries.
This is at his feet 2 1/2 years to build an offense and this is where we are.

even the best teams throw a stinker but the Giants (especially the offense) really seemed to be honing their craft to reach the nadir they achieved.

4 fumbles, 4 INT this year. 14 teams have more giveaways tham the giants. Almost half the league. They're average.

They cannot overcome it because the offense is scoring 15 ppg. Circle back to the QB.

Issues become mountains because the qb cannot run a competitive offense. Everything has to be spotless to score points, and nothing in 11 on 11 football will ever be perfect.

Said this yesterday too but they looked just like a few years back when Judge was still coaching and Fromm and Glennon were in at QB.

Yeah, let's not let one game erase the amazing first 6 weeks.

In the first 6 weeks, the Giants averaged 16 PPG, which would be 28th in the league.

Just for the hell of it, let's take out week 1 too. In that case,the Giants average 18 PPG, which is 26th.

Hell, in their single best game (29 points vs Seattle), they still scored less than 4 teams are averaging over 7 games

Even in their "good games", this team is a bottom dweller in terms of putting up points

it's about what this organization accepts responsibility for. You have what you have. What you have put out there at this point is NOT working. DJ is done! Period! He's got a much better OL and a WR1 and it hasn't even caused a small uptick in performance. It's incredible. He is arguably worse now than ever.

I was in the minority thinking that the Giants should have kept Barkley. Yes, a team can always "make due" at RB with mediocre FA RBs and non-premium draft picks. But a top RB like Barkley is not that easy to replace and he could have made a difference.

Having said that, I desperately wanted the Giants to draft a QB in 2018 and I was dead set against drafting Barkley.

And this morning, as I watched the condensed version of the Bills v. Titans game, I couldn't help but wonder, if the Giants had drafted Josh Allen... would Pat Shurmur still be our HC?

As 2021 and certainly 2022. Those offenses were limited but they weren’t utterly punch less. Jones badly needs a change of scenery and some time to regroup. I’m not saying he’s a legit starter but he’s getting worse, not improving.

It's all interrelated. No DC gives a rat's ass about Tracy and Singletary. No one is planning anything special to stop this dynamic duo. It's not like they establish some identity that the rest of the offense can revolve around. Whatever they get, they get. Stay in your rush lanes, play the short routes and let Danny Dimes play Captain Checkdown. Someone gets open down field. Oh well, 2/3 of the time Captain Checkdown is going to miss them anyway.

And hey, it works. Giants are 30th in the league in points for, 27th in yardage and haven't scored more than 3 td's in any game with 9 total on offense for the season.

In the running game. He's less of an asset running and it hurts his game even more.

Huh? Erase the previous 6? He is talking about their overall offense, avg. PPG, etc. This isn't about 1 game and he said as much. It is about the offense as a whole being AWFUL.

But, he certainly is the beginning. I think a lot of the problems on offense stem from having him as the QB. He is bad. This is year 6. We don't need to see more.

Anyone that tries to throw in Thomas being hurt...what about the prior 6 weeks? He has been mostly meh to bad, with one good game in Seattle, which still was not anywhere near a special game. There is nothing more to see or say. It is time to move on and he may benefit from that also.
