How do they stick with this guy? This is probably an aggressive TD estimate. In an era of the league that is designed to boost scoring and our sixth year QB can’t pass for 20 TD’s in a 17 week season. Unreal.
A QB engineered in the lab to be 26th best in the league.
ALso, how about those "Fans also wanted to run Simms and Eli out of town!" objections?
At this point, Simms had just finished throwing for 247 yards and a TD at home against Atlanta en route for a win that put the Giants to 4-3 in his breaktout 1984 season.
We'd already be up the 2009 season for Eli, literally almost two years removed from a Superbowl followed by a pro bowl apperance and the 1 seed in 2008, while putting together his best stastical performance on a defensively challenged Giants team in 2009.
Going from 12th in QBR to 25th after two home games is objectively hilarious. The home/away dichotomy was always there but he's really landing the plane this year.

Not only at home but against two defenses that were struggling in the weeks prior. The Bengals had given up 105 points in the 3 games prior and surrendered 7.
Or, at least, that's what 15 TDs in 2022 got him. Throw in his rushing numbers, which were great, and he still had only 22 TDs, which doesn't crack the top 10 for passing only that year. In fact, that ties him for 14th with Hurts, who didn't even play in all 17 games.
Is just as much to blame for this horseshit product. I think Josh Allen made Daboll, not the other way around and it shows. At least with Kafka, it seemed like there was at least some imagination with the offense. Right now, we're getting some bland, unimaginative crap and it's so lifeless and boring to watch.
25 starts under Judge/Gettleman: 21 TDs, 17 INTs.

*For his career - not this season.
Bargain contract.
I go under.
