How can either Schoen or Daboll sell themselves to come back for year 4 when they go 0-6 in the NFC East in year 3 of this regime?
I see no way Mara can bring these guys back. Especially when he says he wants to feel like the team is going in the right direction.
0-6 in the division - it is likely and incredibly incompetent this far into a regime.
1) Philly has clinched some version of a playoff spot and will not play anyone to stay healthy. Not to mention they will be aware that throwing a game to the Giants would hurt the Giants draft spot. That is 10000000% up Howie's ally. If they can tank to make the Giants drop in the draft and force them to give up picks to move up, they will do that. Not a question in my mind. After the Nate Sudfeld fiasco, it's proven that is how that organization operates.
2) It all went to shit the rest of the games and Siranni either got fired already or is clearly out the door and all the Eagles top players roll over because they are not going to risk getting hurt with a new coach coming in. See the 2012 season finale when it was clear Andy Reid was getting fired. Giants won that game 42-7. I was in the stands and I think if I went on the field, I could have scored a TD vs Philly. I have never seen a team completely quit like that Eagle team did. They would do it again if it came to it.
