Last 4 seasons Philadelphia Eagles points per game

Saquon Barkley is not a difference maker. So many people to bring the Giants and Daniel Jones down are doing a Saquon Barkley circle jerk to laugh at the Giants for extending Jones over Barkley. The Giants and Jones are pathetic but it has nothing to do with letting Saquon go. In reality the correct answer was neither should have been extended.

Talking about the Titans letting Henry go and he’s having a better season than Barkley on a better team.
He’s actually the #1 reason they have a winning record

Everyone likes to clown the NY team and also it's percieved as the reason why didn't sign him is Jones. We should have signed neither.

I’ll look forward to your analysis on the difference between their OL of 2/3 years ago and now and also whether you are including the games they were down both their WRs. Hurts also has regressed greatly.

Barkley is carrying their offense to a 4-2 record. You aren’t making the point you think you are making.

Once again, you're missing the point. I'm making the point that an offense centered around a running back is not a good offense, like we found out. Sure put him on the best team of the 2022 season Eagles and he'd do well. Did we have that team? He's a nice added bonus to a team that is already great. He's not the guy to carry your offense. You don't spend tons of money on this guy without having a ready set offense. And even then he's not as good as McCaffrey who was on a loaded team but had a good not great QB and didn't win a Super Bowl. I don't think anyone thinks he's a bad player, but a team that is further along than we are and got a healthy and probably the best version of Barkley we've seen is scoring 22 points a game. Do you think he would have made one iota of a difference here?
More about Jalen Hurts performance than Barkley

The Titans weren't featured on a TV show with their owner saying "I'm going to be sick if Barkley goes to the Eagles"... with sound clips of our GM saying they didn't think he'd get what he got and the drama surrounding it. We may not have wanted that to get out, but we were front and center this off-season.

Also, this argument is strange. AJ Brown has been hurt, they also lost their HOF center. PPG this season is more indicative to Hurts not playing well, not Saquon. They're still the favorites to win the division in my opinion, and with SF breaking down, they still could win the NFC.

I’m not missing the point at all. You tried cramming 2 completely different scenarios into one which is a flawed way to make a point and then get combative about it.

The Giants not re-signing Barkley was a logical and reasonable decision (although how we arrived at that was convoluted and messy). But Barkley IS making a difference for Philly and I’d argue he’s saving their season and keeping that staff employed.
