Quick general observation. Been seeing a lot of three-step drops. They're definitely trying to get the ball out quicker on offense.
and qucik passes especially with the receivers the giants have in Cruz, Randle and Beckham all 3 guys can make people miss but i hope they dont go completely away from the deep game....

I don't get the conflicting responses (not just this one, seems like there's been a few), especially during full team work when all the action is in one place. Is the media section that far from the action?
I totally agree. But you get better at something by constantly doing it.
I just get the feeling the Giants didn't work on the screens/short passes as much as they should have (or used to) at the end of the "Gilbride regime"....and instead went for their comfort plays.
Time to get Eli back to doing what he's not comfortable with, and I think it will benefit him overall.

If he has no camp and no preseason, coming off an injury and the type of season he had last season, that's not good.
I can't believe the reporters keep failing to ask the right question there...it's the most important question the Giants have right now and they keep dropping the ball on it.
Hopefully what Coughlin means is that he'll be participating in training camp and "ready by the Fall" in the same sense that he expects everyone to be ready by the Fall.
If he's not practicing with his teammates during training camp, it's a pipe dream to believe he can step in at left tackle on opening day and play well.

So true. Its the biggest question mark on the entire team. Im happy with the line LG-RT. A healthy Beatty with Brown backing him up would rest a lot of concerns about this team in general heading into the 2014 season. No Beatty and starting Brown with no depth behind him is a scary thought.

or with what units guys are lining up but one thing that is very clear to me is that Hosley has definitely fallen.
There are 6 other CBs that appear to be well ahead of him, 3 of which are much better special teams players than him, not to mention another CB drafted in the 6th round.
I'm not saying the Giants should or have given up on Hosley but as of today his chances of making the team look bleak.
and people are freaking out over Eli bouncing a 3rd screen and Beatty ready 'in the fall'.
I understand the concern but it's the 2nd day of OTA; and it's ironic that everybody that got on WB being a revolving door for the faster DEs are concerned because there is a percieved huge drop off from him to Charles Brown(or JBrewer).
There will be more running in this offense than most people think, imo. An upbeat game will mean conditioning for our OL will be important in order to gas the D and slow down a back side crush by the DE there.
Give both situations a chance to improve/succeed, like through the first 10 days of training camp, before the doom starts. If the Giants are concerned today about it, a guy like EWinston will get a call Sunday.
Jelling will take a little while; the upside is TC said the players are understanding the new O which is huge.
We'll be fine.

Hopefully what Coughlin means is that he'll be participating in training camp and "ready by the Fall" in the same sense that he expects everyone to be ready by the Fall.
If he's not practicing with his teammates during training camp, it's a pipe dream to believe he can step in at left tackle on opening day and play well.

I can't believe the reporters keep failing to ask the right question there...it's the most important question the Giants have right now and they keep dropping the ball on it.
So true. Its the biggest question mark on the entire team. Im happy with the line LG-RT. A healthy Beatty with Brown backing him up would rest a lot of concerns about this team in general heading into the 2014 season. No Beatty and starting Brown with no depth behind him is a scary thought.

Eli says he feels great. Still being smart w ankle but no real limitations.
There are 6 other CBs that appear to be well ahead of him, 3 of which are much better special teams players than him, not to mention another CB drafted in the 6th round.
I'm not saying the Giants should or have given up on Hosley but as of today his chances of making the team look bleak.

I understand the concern but it's the 2nd day of OTA; and it's ironic that everybody that got on WB being a revolving door for the faster DEs are concerned because there is a percieved huge drop off from him to Charles Brown(or JBrewer).
There will be more running in this offense than most people think, imo. An upbeat game will mean conditioning for our OL will be important in order to gas the D and slow down a back side crush by the DE there.
Give both situations a chance to improve/succeed, like through the first 10 days of training camp, before the doom starts. If the Giants are concerned today about it, a guy like EWinston will get a call Sunday.
Jelling will take a little while; the upside is TC said the players are understanding the new O which is huge.
We'll be fine.
