Laquon Treadwell

Nick from Goa : 3/9/2016 10:35 pm
Who else hopes he's there when we pick? I would love the ND tackle but there's no chance he's available. This guy is instant impact at a major position of need. Him and OBJ, oh man
I'm

all for getting a WR in the draft, but I don't think he's the value play at 10. I'd prefer Doctson or Michael Thomas at 40.
Best part about all these signings
Doubledeuce22 : 3/9/2016 10:38 pm : link
Is that we can definitely go best player available without hesitation. I still think they go CB or DL unless Stanley is there.

Not a fan of Thomas. Very clunky. I'd prefer Fuller or Doctson.
If they sign an OL in FA, I'd have zero problem with it.
Devon : 3/9/2016 10:39 pm : link
They have to get a good WR somewhere (they cannot go into 2016 with only OBJ to rely on and banking on Cruz for anything, especially with their subpar TEs) and the FA crop has already mostly shriveled to a point where an ancient Boldin looks like the best option.

Treadwell would [potentially] be a perfect bookend to OBJ, with his skill set.

Fuller is fast but apparently drops a ton of balls. I'm not sold on Thomas either, but he has the size/speed ratio to be a deep threat, much like Doctson.
I think Treadwell is the best WR in this Draft, but I'd rather go with
Anakim : 3/9/2016 10:41 pm : link
Josh Doctson at 40 than Treadwell at 10
Id like to see what Treadwell runs
blueblood : 3/9/2016 10:41 pm : link
Id like to see in the 4.5 range
I'd say no to forcing a pick.....
Simms11 : 3/9/2016 10:45 pm : link
he won't be the BPA at 10. We may be able to actually go BPA with exception of QB.
Big fan of Treadwell
Doubledeuce22 : 3/9/2016 10:45 pm : link
Very AJ Green like. I wouldn't throw the remote if we picked him.

His 3 cone and short shuttle are more important to me.

I would prefer Coleman to Treadwell personally.

I don't see that comparison. Treadwell, to me, is more like Brandon Marshall and Doctson is more like Green.

no way coleman over treadwell, to me treadwell has is all...he is going to be a good pro and a perfect compliment to OBJ...id love it
Good call
Nick from Goa : 3/9/2016 10:51 pm : link
on the Marshall comparison.

Treadwell can be a dual threat. Deep or possession. That's why he reminds me of AJ Green. Almost identical in size and weight too.
Marshall is not a bad comparison also.
Doubledeuce22 : 3/9/2016 10:54 pm : link
Either way I'd sign up for either of those guys in their prime at #10. Especially if you pair him with OBJ. Insanity.
No guarantee
Metnut : 3/9/2016 11:18 pm : link
Treadwell is even there at #10. I've seen him go at #8 in a few recent mocks.

I'd like the pick. Kid is a stud.
I don't have a problem going Treadwell..
Modus Operandi : 3/9/2016 11:31 pm : link
I think he's going to be a big play guy. Think he's more like Deandre Hopkins than Brandon Marshall or Dez.

All in all, I'd rather we went after a guy like Sterling Shepard in the third. We someone to exploit the middle of the field again while OBJ keeps the safeties deep. I think Shepard can carve out a nice Wes Welker like career there. Extremely crafty. Polished. Steve Smith like in his maturity, route running and clutch ability
I have to say,
chopperhatch : 3/9/2016 11:44 pm : link
I like Treadwell at 10. But something tells me if he runs 4.5 he won't be there.

Eli would be patting his semi the whole time under center.
I dislike Treadwell at 10

He had a serious leg injury, I'm gun shy of WR who had that kind of trauma.

Like elements of his game and loved him before that injury.

his injury was because someone fell on his leg.. and he has played well since that happened...

Doctson is my guy. Under the radar going to be a stud. Hope to nab this guy in round 2
Corey Coleman
ryanmkeane : 3/10/2016 8:03 am : link
is someone I think will continue to rise until draft day. Similarly to Beckham moving up from the 18-30 range into the top 15, Coleman has the skill set to be a great player. I imagine the Giants love his WCO potential.
I've watched Will Fuller
ryanmkeane : 3/10/2016 8:04 am : link
for a few years. He's a great competitor and fast as lightning, but the drops were certainly an issue. Some in big spots as well, such as the Clemson game where he had a few.
Doctson
AcidTest : 3/10/2016 8:57 am : link
won’t be there at #40. Coleman would be fine, after a trade down.
Don't
AcidTest : 3/10/2016 8:58 am : link
want Treadwell at #10. Don’t think Fuller will be available at #40, and he has small hands, and drops a lot of balls.

arcarsenal : 3/10/2016 9:00 am : link
Treadwell reminds me of Alshon. He's going to be really good. I think he'll get picked before us, actually.

I love Corey Coleman too but I don't think the value is there taking him @ 10.

I'd really like Listenbee in the 3rd if he's still there.
Treadwell is good value at #10,
Section331 : 3/10/2016 9:30 am : link
we'd be lucky if he even made it that far. I wonder, with all of the defensive FA signings, if the ND LB is on NYG's radar? Even if you have to stash him for a year, adding him in 2017 would make the defense one of the league's best.
Coleman is a better prospect
KWALL2 : 3/10/2016 9:39 am : link
He will have no problem getting off the line and getting open in the NFL.

Treadwell will have problems with both.

Wait until he runs. It will end this he won't even be there talk. He'll be there for NYG and they will pass. The only WR to consider at 10 is Coleman.
