It's that time of year again. Just pre-ordered the game tonight, and wanted to see what interest there is this year. We didn't get a ton of people last year to start off with. Hopefully we can get more this year.
I feel like they fixed a lot of the major problems last year. This year they seem to have made an emphasis on fixing pass defense(A bunch of zone fixes) Im looking forward to playing it.
Sorry for being late have been busy on vacation and then had a eye issue so will only be playing with one for a little while I am sure it wont help my game any. But count me in not sure about bad intel since he is in Spain but he says he has decent internet. I have no idea what team I want will wait and play a little with the game before deciding.

We usually wait to create the league until when the season starts because there is always a roster update after the preseason. Also gives everybody a couple weeks to practice in case they want to change their team for whatever reason.

well some of the guys on here are very good but most will be over in the NFC so if you take a AFC team good chance you will mainly play Computer teams until the playoffs. However don't let good players scare you off it does not take long to get good enough to put up a good fight.
start the league this weekend it looks like the roster have most of the players and besides its not like our teams will look like the real one after a few weeks of trades and FA pick ups anyways.

It has changed a lot wait until you get into the Franchise mode it is way better then the other maddens in my opinion I love the addition of the 10 man practice squad its about time we have only been asking for it for the past 5 years.
But will stick with the Cowboys even with Homo probably not on the roster...JT I know you can only see out of one eye but hop over to the NFC east. Austin too.
issue is a good question there is only one guy I want and if he is not picked up during the preseason he get removed from the game since the CPU only keeps a smaller number of guys on the FA list during the regular season. Of course the player I want is RB Ross Scheuerman who I developed last year to be a stud to run my wildcat offense

I think before you start the league you throw up who is what team and the start ratings so there is no confusion. Also I would specify which time zone since some of you are on the west coast and some on the east and me in spain. My day starts 9 hours before yours does.

If you click right stick on the main menu there should be an invite. Otherwise the franchise menu when you go into it should have something for franchise invites.

we turn up injuries at all I am just wondering since I have only seen 1 minor one in my two games played. I looked around the league and saw some of QBs getting knocked out but not much else just wondering what you guys are seeing.
Are at the default setting. I lost Melvin Gordon for 4 weeks and my rookie TE for the season in my first game. Haven't played my 2nd yet. So they're definitely happening. I know Rams guy lost Barron for 6 weeks too.
I know I don't have big injuries but every year there is one team that gets slammed with injuies and it derails their season. So having it in madden keeps it as realistic as it can get.
But I just had my matchup against cpu had a 4th and 12 stop for the win (a sack no less) and got called for a defensive hold and they ended up getting into fg range there and beat me with about 7 seconds laugh. Lol ridiculous
defensive struggle the Titans fall to the Raiders 9-0 a game were the Titans forced to use a new playbook after their custom one was left on the bus. Up by 3 point late in the 3rd QTR the titans took a risky chance at a 60 yard FG that hit the cross bar but gave the raiders a short field who then marched down the field for the games only TD but the team missed the extra point.

I had this happen about 15 times(only shows 12 Times started but there were a handful that disconnected while loading or during KO. I'm wondering if this was just a quick glitch for me or if this will be an ongoing problem. 1st time I was just about done with my game(like 1:25 left) and it happened.

to this point the Giants finally get some user games coming up with Crick, Jon, and Intel. Excited to play some people that can actually fight back. Rather than the Computer beatdowns to this point. My two funnest games were the ones Vs MR B and Intel(even with delay issues)
How are you liking BF1 I picked it up Sunday night and played a lot last night I really like the setup of some of the battles and with all the explosions and creators around it makes for some awesome fights for flags but the Tanks seem way to hard to stop with gun ports on every side they are almost impossible to sneak up on and take out with Infantry type weapons. However I love the new mode Operations its like Rush but with a story behind it.
I love it so far. Most of the maps are great, and I'm just enjoying the fact that there isn't any of that wall running or sliding or jet packing COD bullshit. Tanks are hard to take out one on one in some levels (as they would be in real life). But you can make real quick work of them if you have 1 or 2 assault players using the anti tank grenade and the rocket gun while someone distracts the tank.

We have advanced to the offseason. The Broncos made mistakes early and often and were not able to overcome them and the Giants are the Super Bowl champs.
My plan is to do resigning tomorrow night then I will sim to start FA tom night. Then I suggest maybe simming two days Monday and finishing it Tuesday. The draft will likely get pushed to after the holiday.
yeah you can relocate if you want the key is you have to be the team owner cant do it as a coach. I moved my team last madden and the decision takes place after the draft and it takes a full season to move with picking a city a stadium and team name with uniforms.

It should give you that option again when the league advances. I would also look in the menu list area whwre you can sign free agents and customize depth chart. I think there is a staff section somewhere in there

If your a coach you will have to retire your guy and rejoin the league as a owner its the only way I know how to switch jobs unless somebody else know how.
well looking over FA it looks like there will be a few bidding wars mainly after the lone good CB out there and a few other spots. It looks like Giants will be my main opponent as they went after the same few guys I did.

My plan is that we will do the first advance tonight to FA Stage 2 around 7:30pm PST so that Mr. B can participate tonight.
Then tomorrow night we will advance to stage 3 at 8pm PST and do the final FA advance at 8:30pm PST. This way everybody knows their deadline to get their offers in for players and it'll be what it is at that point.

85+ ovr is a minimum 1st rd and 80+ovr player
75-84 = 2nd rd & 75+ ovr player
70-74 = 3rd rd & 70+ ovr player

There is no good way to do it. It will snow all into a shitstorm I guarantee it. Rating for rating doesn't work either because I could havesay 84 rated Vincent Jackson and trade him for someone much more valuable. everybody agrees that CPU trades is a terrible idea however I would say we have open it up in the past for new guys joining the league who are taking over teams with terrible rosters. I point this out only because of the screw job the browns received with this past draft with 3 Qbs selected in the fist two rounds I would not be opposed if he was able to try and trade those other QBs away for something else since his roster is a disaster.
I was looking over the transaction tracker and I saw something very troubling the Steelers owner took Joe Thomas 99 rated LT making 10 million a year and moved him to WR then cut him and resigned him seconds later for 900K a season as a low rated WR then moved him back to LT where he was rated back to 99. I say thing as its clearly a loop hole in the system and the Steelers where in major cap hell with only 3 million available after this move. I don't know about some of you guys but I had to cut a few 80 rated players just because I was way over the cap and couldn't sign my rookies otherwise. I think the best option is for him to release Joe Thomas and resign him as a LT that should make his cap cost more in line with what it should be. What do you guys think
To move him to a different position on the line to see how it and fix it all last night then I had something come so I just made sure to put him back on my team. Won't happen again
I like the idea of longer quarters maybe a minute longer especially when playing a human player. However I think we need to bump a few of the sliders on the CPU to make them a little more challenging on Defense because right now you have some guys putting up 70 points a game on the computer in a short game. I was thinking increasing CPU coverage to 65, Interceptions to 60, pass blocking to 65, run defense to 60, Human QB accuracy to 45, and Human catching to 40. The recommendation for those last two come from EA suggestion on a more sim style of play setting. I am sure some of you have noticed you have 70 rated QBs making all pro throws down the field on the run on a consistent basis. You also have 50 rated WRs with 96 speed with no difference in catching and skill then their 85 rated counterparts. These are just a few suggestions I was thinking about

I think leaving the clock as is with the accelerator off is a good starting point that way if guys who play style is to chew clock can still do it but some others will get a few more possessions. At least try that for a few weeks and see if more adjustments are wanted by everybody else.
I'm good with increasing the game time. I feel like doing both may be to much initially. I would say to do one or the other and see how that effects the game times then see if more adjustments are needed after that.
There is no need for personal attacks you know being a commish from you NCAA days as Army is not easy when you have 10+ adults who view the game differently all in the same league and wanting different styles in play Colts and Bolts will listen to what the people want and make the call.
At the end of the day its just a game that is much better when you have more people in it playing and posting and doing things around the league to give it a interactive feel otherwise everybody would just play the CPU and be bored out of their minds after one season.
Also Colts and Bolts is not a sore loser because he gets beat down on a consistent basis by everybody in this league and he usually does not rage quite until season 4.
However I do want to raise the point that some of the fundamental rules behind this league was 1. Playing the game Sim style (ie punting on 4th down) 2. No cheating or gimmick playing style and 3. no running up the score on a human opponent. I think this last rule has been less followed ever since they made stats part of the equation of player development and we need to go back to it. You have plenty of CPU games to pad your 4,000 receiving yards for your WRs or 90 passing TDs for your QB.
Thanks Adder. I'm going to try to make it to at least season 5 this time although my interest does tend to fade after football ends. I do like this Madden more than previous ones so that may help.

As for the player position swapping and dropping or using that to modify contracts to be cheaper - just don't do it. As Adder said, we are a sim league. If it wouldn't happen in real life, then try to leave it for a different league. If Odell Beckham was trying to get a new contract, and the Giants said they considered him a kicker so they'll give him $2M per year, I'm pretty sure people would lose their minds. I don't want to have to spend my time at each sim (or anyone else's time) policing the transactions list to make sure people aren't abusing the game logic. Just play your games as they would be played (no score running up or glitch plays, etc) and everything will be fine.

Mike, I have been playing with Terp a long time we have been in leagues for almost a decade now and he has always been a honest player. Now I know his play style of running out the clock to reduce possession can drive some players crazy trust me he has done it to me plenty of times but that style change is good in that it brings more diversity to the league.
Now I understand we are posting to BBI and for some reason it brings out the hate even on a Madden thread but lets try to put this past us so we can enjoy the game.

I played about half of my games last season but my schedule starts to free up more during the week for the next couple months. so it should make it easier to schedule games with people.

I imagine you hard those things from the same guy... Colts. Let me paint the scenario for you from our last game last season...
I'm winning 19-17 and trying to run the clock down. I get deep in his territory and it's down to 12 seconds. Fourth down. I can't run the clock down any farther. So I kick the field goal to make it 22-17 so he needs a touchdown to take the lead. After the game he calls me an asshole for running up the score.
Then last night I dominate time of possession and beat him 19-14. So today he complains about the clock.
That's fine. Change the clock, Colts. Just don't bitch when I run the play clock down to 1 on every play next time we face each other.
I don't care at all about you (or anyone) grinding the clock down. It's not my style but I do it from time to time. I think it's boring but to each their own. We have averaged about 4 possessions each in our games. I would think more possessions would be something everybody would want. Gives everybody (including myself) a larger margin of error to get back in a game if they're down.
But hey, you keep thinking and saying what you want. Just can't promise you'll remain in this league for long if you keep up the dick attitude.
I would vote to try no accelerated clock, initially, and see how that goes.
With regard to Colts being a sore loser. Been playing with him for several years, not sure I have ever seen that. Have seen him get upset, but never be directly soar at someone or a bad loser. Mike99999 on the other hand is a complete ass when he loses...probably why he doesn't lose anymore ;-)
Now Terp and Colts, whatever is going on with you two is pretty damn silly. I was on mic with Colts last night when he sent you the GG message and something about the LB interception you got and you responded with your WR dropped a TD, tough shit. So, if we are going to go around calling people bad losers, sore losers or the like then lets call you someone who can't win with grace, lacks sportsmanship or the like. OR, and I am just spit-balling here, you both grow the F up, get over it, and play the VIDEO GAME (that's in caps cuz this is just a damn game).
Colts has managed this league for about 6 years now and there has never been an accusation or implication such as the ones you have lobbed against him. Frankly, managing the league takes up quite a bit of his personal time and he does a pretty good job. These seasons usually go into year 4-6 and the same 10-15 people come back every year to play. If that is any indication, Colts does a fine job managing and has not pissed anyone off for being a "bad loser."
With regard to the length of game, that was not his idea. In fact, it was myself and Polarash, the 49ers owner, who brought it up last night during Colts game with you. We both wanted another minute to the games or accelerated clock turned off so we could have more time in human games. I do not remember the prompt for this discussion, but I do believe it occurred around half time of your game with Colts because he mentioned that neither side had the ball very often. That was the extent of Colts involvement of the idea forming.
At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a fun way to burn a couple hours a week, and some bragging rights if you pull off a nice win.

Polar and I had a good game last night. I had to score three TDs in the last 2 minutes and then one in overtime. One was a weird play where he picked me off, I stuck him, he fumbled I returned it for a TDS.

I'd like to thank Intel, my nemesis from Dallas, without him I would have only had like two human games all of last year and that would have been boring. I'd like to thank Mr. B for challenging Darius to be all that he could be last year on his way to the rushing record, without you I would not have grown him to his full potential which he is just now reaching. I'd like to thank Vortex, if it wasn't for him never playing and taking Sim wins regularly and me loving to give him shit for it, I likely would have taken a few sims of my own. I'd like to thank Robbie for coming out of the AFC last year, without him DRC would have never won a Suberbowl MVP award. I'd like to thank Terps, without him Colts would just be a lovable loser, but now this incredibly entertaining bout has happened and rejuvenated the league. I'd like to thank Adder, in the words of the immortal Keanu Reeves, "I am astounded by your ability to show up". I'd like to thank Jon, without him we wouldn't have his yearly shady CAP move to keep us all watching the transaction wire. I am planning to give until Saturday to do the advance. I'm in the process of moving into my house over the next few days so I will be in various combinations of no internet or access to my xbox between later tonight and Saturday. If everybody is done after tonight at a reasonable hour, then I have no problem doing the advance.

Just trade for him back, if they wont do it for the same pick he will have to offer a better pick/picks to get it done and that I guess will be chalked up to the cost of trying to skirt the rules

I would add, that as long as you are not trying to trade back for the player or some shit too, then I still don't have a huge concern. We all watch football, older players get their contracts renegotiated all the time or moved to another team for low compensation.

I am little confused at what you are suggesting. Are you saying that an owner can't release players to free up cap space or trade players to other human owners to free up cap space. Or are you saying that an owner can't make moves with CPU teams?
I will give you a perfect example, my team. I had a ton of Cap space going into the offseason. So, I signed 2 players to pretty hefty contracts, and 2 others are expensive contracts, but not outrageous. Leaving me with about 10-15 million in space left, i spent about 10 of that signing guys to 1 year deals, because I did not have a large amount of draft picks due to the Goff trade.
I was then presented with the decision to either overpay a player for what he was bringing to my team or try and move him to ensure I would have the cap room to sign Aaron Donald. I decided to move that other player. Are you saying that is not allowed?
I completely agree with the idea that moving a guy to a different position, where they are worse, resigning them or releasing them while at the worse position is a no-no. However, I feel one should be able to make moves on our team to free up money. That happens every year in the league.

I really don't care about the trade itself. In the grand scheme of things I don't think it matters. But i feel like the banning computer trading is an all or nothing proposition and we shouldn't get in the habit of saying one is ok and one isn't or something of that ilk. The whole point of banning it was to not be able to gain a competitive advantage via a trade with a computer, and while he didnt receive a player or high draft pick, the 10 MIL or whatever he saved via the trade is certainly a competitive advantage. Especially when someone in your situation had to trade a real good player or make roster decisions in FA to avoid getting to that point.

I'm not upset with Ash either, just 10 mil in cap space is a lot. That could be the difference in signing twpnstuds in the off season. This league is competitive and that advantage is significant. Despite what badder said, I don't have the skills I use to have and need parity to win.

Anyway let me know how he does if you play him I really liked his speed and short accuracy and he had some really good drives in the pre season his problem was he cant throw a deep ball so a human defense just has to take away the short crossing patterns
I don't think we turned them up this season but I am definitely noticing and increase in the guys on my team getting hurt. May have to do with more plays with no accelerated clock. Already this season I have Eli, Jenkins, Shepard, and my MLB out for at least 6 weeks each.

yeah I had my first bad injury game in my last one where I lost 3 guys but only one for long term most I think since we are playing more plays per game they are adding up the CPU teams always had more Injuries then the Human teams last year.

About that trade Polar Ash did with the CPU Patriots team...now the owner of the Pats is in significant cap trouble because of it. Hence why we don't trade with the cpu

The Patriots guy won't deal with a penalty for cutting Kap since Polar took the hit on the signing bonus when he traded him away.
I think the pick should be sent back to the Patriots guy for sure.

That practice squad QB is a keeper. He's a lot better than the guy I drafted, and I'm not sure I'll go back to Smith when he's healthy.

All you people complaining about losing guys on your practice squad, why on earth are you putting guys that are even potentially decent on the practice squad? There are a ton of real protected roster spots so if you have a QB or DB who could be real good why on earth try to "stash" him when we have active owners who check out FA regularly and with injuries always need replacements.
Example: I got a DB off Polarashs practice squad named Redmond I think. Dude is real solid and will likely be a starter for me the rest of the time we play this game. I just dont understand the use of the practice squad

Well in the past all of these rookies we would have drafted in the past would have been cut and disappeared from the Madden FA roster after the end of the preseason because the game only kept the 25 highest players per position that was why you would find a bunch of slow washed up guys 30 years old but still rated 70 but nobody wanted. so I love the addition of the practice squad because you have a bunch of guys rated 65-55 but have some have skills that can be developed over time, in fact 2 guys now starting on my team were practice squad guys last season. My complaining is really just playing around as you guys poach all my talent its not like we are not all doing it in fact Mike I took 2 guys off your team last year for my playoff run.
of bumping up injuries a little bit I have only had one major one in two seasons and that was a fullback hurt on special teams. I am sure most feel different but I have always felt that in a sim style league most teams should have about 10-12 guys on the injury report at any given time that is just the modern NLF these days.

I have Internet finally so I'm controlling the advances. We advanced last night. There are lots of people on a bye so only a couple games left already. Will advance on Saturday but looks like we can do it earlier if everyone gets their games for this week done.
I do put development points into the injury and toughness rating only because they are so cheap and if you lose your young guys to injury for long term they will miss XP that they will never get back especially when physical attributes are cheaper to buy than later in a career.

Yeah you can recover your gamer tag on another Xbox and should be able to play on it. That's how I was able to play my game on Mr B's Xbox while my internet was getting set up at my house.
The ability to watch other peoples games live. Or at least go watch them after the game is played. NFL teams base their gameplans on watching the tape of the opponent it would be cool if you could do the same on madden.
The ability to watch other peoples games live. Or at least go watch them after the game is played. NFL teams base their gameplans on watching the tape of the opponent it would be cool if you could do the same on madden.

In order to stream the game without lag you would need a high upload speed without much signal interference. I know the only company in the socal area that has that is Frontier fios.
I have noticed injuries are going down across the league I wonder if that spike in injuries was due to a patch update that was quickly fixed with the new update that came out right before Christmas.
I know we had a couple more in my Broncos-Chargers game yesterday. Halo lost a backup safety on special teams for the year, and I lost one of my DE for a couple weeks.

Had a pretty epic game with Halo last night. Had some connection issues on my end throughout the game. He played a near perfect game. He had no turnovers, passed fairly well, ran decently. I had two picks on plays that I still cant believe.

I just got hit with the infamous broken collarbone lost both my TE in my last game for 8 weeks and starting digging through the scraps of FA looking for some replacements of all the position out there TE has the least amount of talent to fill in and almost nobody has a project one on their practice squads

We play after that. Chargers are more focused on winning their division with a victory over Denver than with an out of conference matchup that means nothing.

I love the injury aspect of this season Its why you need to have depth and not all your money into a few really talented guys should make FA more interesting this coming year
Also just a note for those guy having roster issues because of the injuries. The madden game engine does not allow for OL injuries unless he some how is put into a position to tackle or run the ball so you don't need to carry much depth at that position. In addition with the Fatigue setting we play at most OL will never come off the field so that is a consideration as well.

jt...I forgot you had asked about my moving the KC Chiefs. I'm moving them to Portland, OR. The names they gave me to choose from weren't great, so it's the Lumberjacks. I also didn't get to choose the uniforms as I was moving that week and on autopilot, so I'm curious to see what the hell they'll look like.
It looks like I'm gonna be on the outside looking in again at 10-6/11-5. I'm looking at Portland as a new start.
Its funny in that I moved my team to Portland in last years madden as well from buffalo the name choices where limited and I took the Snow Hawks I think that was the name anyways I decided to move from buffalo because I was sick of playing half my games in the snow where it was to hard to run my style offense. However in Portland you get a heavy rain game every time instead then in the playoffs you get snow anyway so my plan backfired on me.
The one golden moment was that I did win a Super bowl with them after beating a murderous row of humans in the playoffs of bad intel, Mik99999, colts and bolts and WTH Jackson.

if Mik was playing in the AFC I would take the field but since he is basically all by himself this year in the NFC I say he has the easiest path to the super bowl and will dominate who he plays in it most likely.
On a side note my team is starting to get hit with the injury bug at the worst time right before the playoffs I lost 4 guys for the season in my last game so from here on out I am playing backups my only worry is that Jags owner might catch me for the Division if I lose that last game vs him

I believe Halo has NHL. Not sure about the franchise. Right now a bunch of us are playing Rainbow Six between games. It is fun and super cheap. If you like that style of game. Just dont play with Colts because that guy will take the entire time limit and never make it to the bomb/objective.

Well mik you should face me next year which should be me at my best since it usually takes me 3 seasons to build my team the way I like it and run my wildcat offense and my quarters defense.

you guys are on Rainbow six I need to check it out I am usually not a huge fan of close quarter shooters since my hand and eye coordination is not good enough to compete in those games its why I am more of a battlefield type player but if its fun as a team I will try it out.

Well unfortuantly I didn't have a great showing in the two simmed games this year which basically forced me out of the playoffs. Next year will be the year with no sims!!! Maybe.... haha
Mike is correct that half the time austin doesn't make it to the objective but he does hell of a job taking out cameras. Though mike can't talk to much as their have been a few times he never made it to the objective. Me on the other hand I make it to the objective or am dead long before time runs out haha.
It doesn't have a franchise mode just season mode and easy sports hockey club where you play as your favorite position so like if you have 6 guys playing you can play as the full team

Looks like the NFC will be a three horse race. With the Giants and the two representatives from the NFC West. The interesting thing will be to see which bye week team gets MR B and which gets a computer matchup.
The AFC is a battle of an inferior conference just trying to stay close to the NFC in the Superbowl...
I do believe the AFC has a better record vs the NFC in head to head matchups this year. The problem for the AFC is that its such a battle to get through the playoffs most teams are beat up by the Super bowl game.

Played with no Starters in the game. And it took my second best wr(in after two wr injuries) dropping two TD passes with under fifteen seconds for me to take that loss. I have to play Austin carefully. Win big and he will lose interest and quit the league, lose and then I have to hear him talk about how he beat me. So I try to keep our games close.
I'll tell you this, he was happy you beat Jon as he feels you are an easier matchup for him if you both move on so we shall see.
First game against Giants meant nothing, and I've said that since the beginning. We both played with backups and the game wasn't particularly hard played both ways. I took the lead off a pick 6, and he had a chance to win but a couple drops by his WR on 3rd and 4th down sealed the game for me. I put no stock into that game should we have a potential SB rematch.
I was actually hoping to play Jon to avenge last year's playoff loss, but we will settle for another ass smacking of those Denver Donkeys instead. Then I'll deal with Adder or Crick.

Alot of absolutes about who should beat who, and who is going to beat who, and who could beat who, but at the end of the day one thing is an actual fact, to this point in the franchise, no one has defeated in the Giants in a playoff game(or any game that matters for that matter).
Teams come into New York, throw everything they got at the Giants, and leave with their heads down. Eli is looking for one last superbowl run to add to his legacy. Maybe DRC will be the MVP again this year like he was last year thanks to Halo.
It was 4th and inches late in fourth quarter with a heavy wind and a kicker who had already missed a fg and xp due to lag. So rather than kicking a very risky kick I went for the win(and got it). To be fair I also told you I was going to go for it so you could pick a play. You stop me and you have a great chance to win, you didn't and well you didn't
The biggest difference in our league vs other leagues should be sportsmanship. Not running up the score or using techniques that take advantage of the game's design, or flaws.
Going for fourth is a part of strategy, just like if you want to go for two every time. Risk\Reward
I have to disagree only because since we try to play a sim style league unless your down by major points nobody in the NFL would go for it on 4th down in their own territory.
So what happens in madden is one guy will go for it on 4th and five and get it because its really hard to stop crossing patterns in madden to begin with and he will go down and score then on the opposite possession the other guy will go for it on 4th down in his need to keep up with the other team realizing his opponent will never punt the ball so the game becomes a shoot out with very few runs because both teams will not play for a game of field position but points. So now with punting gone a major part of the game is missing everything is effected from defensive strategy to offensive play calling and you will start to see the rise of certain money plays being run on both 3rd and 4th down in the need to keep drives going and with it frustrations build and enjoyment of playing against other humans is really effected especially against rivals. To prove this point all anybody has to do is play a bunch of ranked online games with the community how much fun are those things.
I think the success of the league is based on the format we have created because it does keep games closer and in some instance more competitive especially against guys with different skill levels.

I see everybody's points about 4th downs. For me it's always a matter of field position, yards, and game situation. It's like Crick said in his post: it's about sportsmanship in our league. If it's a hotly contested game where there haven't been any stops and someone is all of a sudden facing a 4th down and wants to go for it, then I understand that thinking. I'm not saying I would necessarily do it in the same situation, but it's Madden. If I'm up on somebody and feel comfortable about the game, I'm going to punt and make them earn every yard. If it's a defensive battle and nobody is scoring, I'm probably going to punt so I don't give up momentum and field position. Basically, use discretion and don't be a dick about it. I don't think it's really an issue in our league.
If it's 4th and 1, and I'm anywhere near the 50, I'm going for it. 3th and two on the oppents side and I'm going for it. Depending on the lag, I my never kick a field goal. Of its deep in my own territory I may punt it. I don't have a problem with anyone going for it on 4th down especially if they give you a heads up

Did the broncos and colts game go was it a battle or a blow out I didn't check out the score when I was online. The browns had a rough night throwing 6 Ints most of them inside there own 30 yard line
Because the Bronco coach did not know how to spike the ball. So down three on the 20something yardline he no huddled tried to throw an imcomplete pass with 5 seconds left and his tight end caught the ball. Lost by 3 in field goal range...
Was a straight defensive battle. The Broncos were inspired by the return of Von Miller, and the Chargers defense was able to hold serve. Both teams got killed at inopportune times by bad penalties. Game could have honestly gone either way.
Titans- Will the Cinderella run continue? Will the running game be able to pierce the Chargers strong front 7. Will he be able to win the turnover battle. If the Running game fails will he be able to throw the ball in order to move it?
Chargers- Will the rookie QB play big in the big game? Will the history of choking in the playoffs continue? Will his defense be able to stand up to a team built to run. Will he be able to stay turnover free. Will he win the turnover battle.
And Finally, will it matter? Because the winner of that game gets the Winner of the Giants 49ers who are sure to be a betting favorite in the Super Bowl
On a serious note though, Adder gave me a hell of a run for my money. He was up 12-0 until 2:30 left in the first half. I had 2 turnovers and a punt on 3 drives. Holding penalties were killing me and I couldn't open a hole to run the ball effectively to save my life. Was able to execute a touchdown drive and close the gap to 12-7 right before half, and the momentum swing was all it took to snap my team out of it. Game ended 23-12. Mariota had a really off 2nd half and missed some key throws he should have made.
Looking forward to taking on the NFC winner to see if the AFC can finally get one on the board in this league...or at least improve on Halo's 0 point effort in the previous Super Bowl
very fun game the titans actually decided to come out passing to throw the Chargers off its game plan and they had some success in the first half with the plan to wait till they moved to a nickel or dime defense and then break out the wildcat and it worked perfectly on a long TD run and a 12 point lead. However the chargers quickly adapted and changed its offense from deep crossing patterns to shallow drags and power running up the middle of the defense the result was a slow moving but effective change that the titans didn't have a counter for.
In the second half Marriota had a chance to even up the game but on two critical drives he totally missed wide open WRs running down the field. The chargers then set their trap to seal the game waiting for the Titans to run commit on a obvious running down the colts instead ran a go route to Gordon and took a 8 point lead. Then in the last mins of the game the Titans try to make one last stand to give its offense a chance to tie up the game but the chargers hit a 60 yard field goal that bounces of the cross bar and goes in to kill any chance for a last second comeback.
Was played in a blizzard. The 49ers were forced to punt on their first drive, then the Giants had a long plodding 13 play drive derailed by an ODB drop and were forced to take the 3. The ensuing kickoff was then returned for a TD(one of the first I can remember) and the Giants were down.However the Giants offense found a way around Polars tough defense(and tough weather) to Run, Dink, and Dunk taking the occasional shot to build a lead. Polar made a push at the end but was intercepted going into the endzone with time running out killing his chance at a miraculous comeback.
His team looks poised to take a jump in talent next year as he has a QB who is likely the best in the league and a RB who is pretty solid as well. Needs to add depth at WR and QB but his team is set up to be strong for the remaining seasons of the franchise.
to address Bad intels concern about the CAP savings that 49ers made with the illegal CPU trade do we know the known amount? The only way to correct the issue would be for him to over pay for one of FA targets by that amount its the only thing I can think of

Seriously I am pretty much over it. Whether he cuts or trades Kaep he still has the savings. The only real issue is the fact he got a pick for it. That can be easily remedied by just trading the pick for some kicker or something or using the pick to draft a bad player and then dropping him. But the dollar amount is literally the same with a trade or a cut and bonus hits the owner either way I believe. So the only difference is the fifth round pick.
On to the Superbowl, I am glad the Chargers made it and hopefully the game will be close because in the event I win I'm hoping we don't get the traditional "I don't care anymore, I'm quiting" Colts Response. The Giants will have a ton of roster turnover this year as some older high priced players will be playing their last games in Blue.

Did the broncos and colts game go was it a battle or a blow out I didn't check out the score when I was online. The browns had a rough night throwing 6 Ints most of them inside there own 30 yard line

The Chargers put up a valiant effort but the Giants were too much on this night. The Chargers offense was stifled early and Darius Jackson had two long first half touchdown runs on the way to a 19 Carry 270+ Yard SuperBowl MVP performance. Eli was not called upon often but was accurate and didn't turn the ball over.
The Chargers mounted a bit of a second half push but it was not enough as the Giants Held on for a 23-15 victory.
On to the offseason, I got hit real hard by regression. Guys that aren't that old taking big hits in stat areas that will affect how they play. Jenkins, JPP, Harrison among others took pretty large hits. We would also like to thank Victor Cruz for his time in NY, he was the first cap casuality as his release opened up 8.5M dollars, it was sad to see him go but the salsa will live forever in Giants Stadium

Hey I made it in madden 16, I think i beat Colts n Mike on my way
offseason after some major regression and in CAP hell I was 6 million over I decided to cut several key members of the Titans team starting with LB Orakpo, SS Seracy, LB Morgan, RB Murray, CB McCain and CB McCourty with only 12 million in cap space now I will need to find some deals in FA bin and draft well this year.
Also if anybody is interested I will be willing to trade Marriota for a 1st and 3rd round pick. I have decided to take my team in a new direction in my offensive game plan.
The first half was an unmitigated disaster. Jackson ripped off 3-4 huge runs (2 of which went for his only two touchdowns) on plays where players took bad angles or an unfortunate incorrect player switch took the final line of defense out of the play.
The Giants were shut out aside from 1 field goal in the second half and the Chargers put up all they could and were able to effectively hold back the Giants offense. An unfortunate series of 3 straight drops (including one on 4th) killed a Chargers drive in the red zone with 5 minutes to go. Chargers scored and got the 2pt conversion to make it 23-15 with 1:30 to go, but a failed onside kick later and it was over.
It was a good overall game that could have been great if not for the Chargers defense late arrival to the game. Just have a few more pieces to the puzzle I need to add for the team and they should be dominant for the rest of the franchise.
the stats off the top of my head is 88 speed I think 90 throwing power play action is 90 good short and medium accuracy but deep ball is lacking I would need to look to get hard numbers.

The Giants will likely play with a three headed monster at QB this season. With new Rookie FA Qb, Eli, and RG3 all getting time depending on the matchup and the gameplan. While not ideal the young rookie is not ready for the spotlight yet so this is the only way.

Suffered our second loss in the franchise on the sim. Little did I know Martavis Bryant and some other guy named Martavis would both go off for 10 catches and 100+ yards.
Two losses came on a sim and a game where Austin and I played no starters. Did see Ash and Austin played what looked like a great game with Ash coming out on top.

I know I should not have said anything prior to the game but I wanted your best game to see where I currently stand and what I need going forward. Now I know how your play in this madden and I will adjust to it.
Traded lewman for two reasons first the guy is a holding machine despite making him a disciplined player and second I am switching away from a power run team to a hybrid offense and I needed a CB desperately my two starters where 70 rated rookies with no better then 86 speed that wont cut in the AFC this season.

I did announce rebuild mode, so pretty much aiming for the highest draft pick I can.
I was running the clock down to kick a game winning field goal, but I stupidly scored a TD to go up 6. COLTS did a great job driving the length of the field in very little time to get the game winning TD. Tough loss to take, but I feel good about where my team is.

No reason in particular but when guys dont have the time to play they seem to drop out first since other things take priority when life happens but I had a hard time picking anybody. I am glad you are enjoy playing in it since you are competitive and play your game when you can which is better then 90% of the new guys who join up to play

The AFC is like the little brother. It's nice to see you guys are having fun over there, but when put against the NFC in the Superbowl there is only one way it will go. The NFC is rolling through the AFC this season. Mr. B has beaten almost every AFC contender already, Adder has faced the Giants wrath, there aren't many other games to be had. It's good to see the Chargers got a confidence boost beating Jon and his rebuilding team with no talent on offense without his best player.

They are also a contender for the AFC title. In a close hard fought game the Texans came out on top over the Titans. An incredible play by a corner to take an option toss out of the air and run it back for a TD turned the tide of the game. It was a good start to a string of games against tough opponents for the next 6 games. Hopefully they can keep that momentum going to the next game.
crick he was a solid player that was active. Texans took the lead in the Division but Titans are not done yet the game flipped after a rash of key injuries in the second half of the game and back to back incredible plays by his CBs
I played the beta and I liked the customization of the character and the open world looked cool but I was bored with the combat really fast and unless I have 3 other friends really into I wont play it much so I will pass for now maybe if its on sale later I will pickup.

I know I am excited for it your catching my team at a good time since I am missing my entire starting LB core but I did get my Starting RB back who came back from a 5 week injury after only missing one game I guess the toughness stat does play a factor during injuries
Huge game for my franchise if I lose it I will go down 3 games to the Texans in my Division and you cant make that up in this league I would be on the edge of missing the playoffs that could get me fired since I promised my owner a Divisional round run at a minimum.

You have to keep in mind the Texans will likely have at least six more Sim games so you could potentially catch up. He also has a handful of tough human games left.
Make sure you or your opponent doesn't have a depth chart problem. I was having problems against adder, I auto adjusted my depth chart, which seemed to fix it
What changed between last season and this one for you? In the first two seasons we were able to get into games together. Since this one Started we had same problem you and Vortex are having. Did you change internet/get a new router/move anything like that?

Figured you guys would be the ones to ask. My left thumb hurts from playing Xbox Madden 2017. Any advice for preventing this? I've tried to lighten up on the stick but I guess I'm not having much success.

I've never had any thumb issues from using the sticks in this game. They make extensions for the sticks so maybe those would put less stress on your thumbs? I have no clue.

in for the fist time since playing this madden I had to do multiple restarts the game message that the server is lost kept coming up wonder if it was a local issue or if other have experienced that.

I also have an idea for next year. When draft time comes around , in the order from worst to best we should be able to trade picks with the cpu. So say I was the last of the humans I could trade for the number 1 overall pic. And then we would continue on down the line. The swap would have to include both firsts and whatever role the cpu required. I think it's a way to get some of the studs in the drafts on to human teams to be developed

I know I had a game like that early in the season and I thought I was the only person to lose to a CPU in a game. I wish the CPU was able to play like that more often to give us a challenge without cheating like you see in All madden level.
I think they adjusted it recently. I noticed it a while ago when I was playing and trying out different schemes in a random game. I enjoy it because it makes it a challenge.

I think Bears, Chiefs, and Texans pulled off dumb trades. I like what the Browns did in round 1 and waiting till round 2 to draft a QB. It is going to be interesting since so much offense was drafted round 1. What do you all think?

I fear I will face a similar fate the C/B has built a strong team this madden. I was just never able to build up my secondary like I wanted and the drafts produced very little talent after the First round for CBs
I thought the game was actually closer than the score indicated. I didn't really feel comfortable until that late pick 6 with a few minutes to go. Your red zone defense is always solid, and I was worried I had lost momentum when you took the lead at the start of the 2nd half.

we moved up to All madden level that should make the CPU games a little more interesting. Took a 15-0 loss to the computer after throwing 5 Interceptions and 3 fumbles lost. I will have to make some adjustments for the next game.

We usually wait to create the league until when the season starts because there is always a roster update after the preseason. Also gives everybody a couple weeks to practice in case they want to change their team for whatever reason.

well some of the guys on here are very good but most will be over in the NFC so if you take a AFC team good chance you will mainly play Computer teams until the playoffs. However don't let good players scare you off it does not take long to get good enough to put up a good fight.

"You have been disconnected from the EA servers, Scores/Stats from this game will not be counted"? I had this happen about 15 times(only shows 12 Times started but there were a handful that disconnected while loading or during KO. I'm wondering if this was just a quick glitch for me or if this will be an ongoing problem. 1st time I was just about done with my game(like 1:25 left) and it happened.

well looking over FA it looks like there will be a few bidding wars mainly after the lone good CB out there and a few other spots. It looks like Giants will be my main opponent as they went after the same few guys I did.

Well you should try to at least make your first round pick if possible but this draft class is not very deep so I don't think you will miss much if you cant make it. the CPU does a good job on auto draft they have found good players for me in the past but it does go BPA not necessary to what your team needs.

Second of all, it has nothing to do with our game. It's something I've discussed with other owners before, during, and after our game.
Third of all, you can feel free to stop being an asshole whenever.
At the end of the day its just a game that is much better when you have more people in it playing and posting and doing things around the league to give it a interactive feel otherwise everybody would just play the CPU and be bored out of their minds after one season.
Also Colts and Bolts is not a sore loser because he gets beat down on a consistent basis by everybody in this league and he usually does not rage quite until season 4.
However I do want to raise the point that some of the fundamental rules behind this league was 1. Playing the game Sim style (ie punting on 4th down) 2. No cheating or gimmick playing style and 3. no running up the score on a human opponent. I think this last rule has been less followed ever since they made stats part of the equation of player development and we need to go back to it. You have plenty of CPU games to pad your 4,000 receiving yards for your WRs or 90 passing TDs for your QB.
I'm going to turn off the accelerated clock in week 2 and we will see how it goes for a few weeks and adjust accordingly.
As for the player position swapping and dropping or using that to modify contracts to be cheaper - just don't do it. As Adder said, we are a sim league. If it wouldn't happen in real life, then try to leave it for a different league. If Odell Beckham was trying to get a new contract, and the Giants said they considered him a kicker so they'll give him $2M per year, I'm pretty sure people would lose their minds. I don't want to have to spend my time at each sim (or anyone else's time) policing the transactions list to make sure people aren't abusing the game logic. Just play your games as they would be played (no score running up or glitch plays, etc) and everything will be fine.

Mike, I have been playing with Terp a long time we have been in leagues for almost a decade now and he has always been a honest player. Now I know his play style of running out the clock to reduce possession can drive some players crazy trust me he has done it to me plenty of times but that style change is good in that it brings more diversity to the league.
Now I understand we are posting to BBI and for some reason it brings out the hate even on a Madden thread but lets try to put this past us so we can enjoy the game.

I imagine you hard those things from the same guy... Colts. Let me paint the scenario for you from our last game last season...
I'm winning 19-17 and trying to run the clock down. I get deep in his territory and it's down to 12 seconds. Fourth down. I can't run the clock down any farther. So I kick the field goal to make it 22-17 so he needs a touchdown to take the lead. After the game he calls me an asshole for running up the score.
Then last night I dominate time of possession and beat him 19-14. So today he complains about the clock.
That's fine. Change the clock, Colts. Just don't bitch when I run the play clock down to 1 on every play next time we face each other.
But hey, you keep thinking and saying what you want. Just can't promise you'll remain in this league for long if you keep up the dick attitude.
With regard to Colts being a sore loser. Been playing with him for several years, not sure I have ever seen that. Have seen him get upset, but never be directly soar at someone or a bad loser. Mike99999 on the other hand is a complete ass when he loses...probably why he doesn't lose anymore ;-)
Now Terp and Colts, whatever is going on with you two is pretty damn silly. I was on mic with Colts last night when he sent you the GG message and something about the LB interception you got and you responded with your WR dropped a TD, tough shit. So, if we are going to go around calling people bad losers, sore losers or the like then lets call you someone who can't win with grace, lacks sportsmanship or the like. OR, and I am just spit-balling here, you both grow the F up, get over it, and play the VIDEO GAME (that's in caps cuz this is just a damn game).
Colts has managed this league for about 6 years now and there has never been an accusation or implication such as the ones you have lobbed against him. Frankly, managing the league takes up quite a bit of his personal time and he does a pretty good job. These seasons usually go into year 4-6 and the same 10-15 people come back every year to play. If that is any indication, Colts does a fine job managing and has not pissed anyone off for being a "bad loser."
With regard to the length of game, that was not his idea. In fact, it was myself and Polarash, the 49ers owner, who brought it up last night during Colts game with you. We both wanted another minute to the games or accelerated clock turned off so we could have more time in human games. I do not remember the prompt for this discussion, but I do believe it occurred around half time of your game with Colts because he mentioned that neither side had the ball very often. That was the extent of Colts involvement of the idea forming.
At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a fun way to burn a couple hours a week, and some bragging rights if you pull off a nice win.

If you want to unload Tony Romo to another team, say the Bears, for a 6th or a 7th, then I don't care. I don't think that ruins the league.

I would add, that as long as you are not trying to trade back for the player or some shit too, then I still don't have a huge concern. We all watch football, older players get their contracts renegotiated all the time or moved to another team for low compensation.

I am little confused at what you are suggesting. Are you saying that an owner can't release players to free up cap space or trade players to other human owners to free up cap space. Or are you saying that an owner can't make moves with CPU teams?
I will give you a perfect example, my team. I had a ton of Cap space going into the offseason. So, I signed 2 players to pretty hefty contracts, and 2 others are expensive contracts, but not outrageous. Leaving me with about 10-15 million in space left, i spent about 10 of that signing guys to 1 year deals, because I did not have a large amount of draft picks due to the Goff trade.
I was then presented with the decision to either overpay a player for what he was bringing to my team or try and move him to ensure I would have the cap room to sign Aaron Donald. I decided to move that other player. Are you saying that is not allowed?

yeah I had my first bad injury game in my last one where I lost 3 guys but only one for long term most I think since we are playing more plays per game they are adding up the CPU teams always had more Injuries then the Human teams last year.

The Patriots guy won't deal with a penalty for cutting Kap since Polar took the hit on the signing bonus when he traded him away.
I think the pick should be sent back to the Patriots guy for sure.

In order to stream the game without lag you would need a high upload speed without much signal interference. I know the only company in the socal area that has that is Frontier fios.

I am able to play today. I get home around 5:30 pst so I can get on around that time.
I tied the game with 5 seconds left on fourth and goal from the 4 or 5 yardline. Got the ball first in overtime and scored again. However I lost two more players to broken Collarbones including my star RB. I now have three guys out seven weeks with Collarbone injuries.

I just got hit with the infamous broken collarbone lost both my TE in my last game for 8 weeks and starting digging through the scraps of FA looking for some replacements of all the position out there TE has the least amount of talent to fill in and almost nobody has a project one on their practice squads

I love the injury aspect of this season Its why you need to have depth and not all your money into a few really talented guys should make FA more interesting this coming year

Also just a note for those guy having roster issues because of the injuries. The madden game engine does not allow for OL injuries unless he some how is put into a position to tackle or run the ball so you don't need to carry much depth at that position. In addition with the Fatigue setting we play at most OL will never come off the field so that is a consideration as well.

Well mik you should face me next year which should be me at my best since it usually takes me 3 seasons to build my team the way I like it and run my wildcat offense and my quarters defense.
And while there was only 14 seconds left, I had the ball back and you didn't have enough timeouts. That game was probably over. BUT we both rested most of our important starters to avoid injury AND we were calling vanilla gameplans. I am looking forward to going full tilt at each other should we both make the Super Bowl.

Alot of absolutes about who should beat who, and who is going to beat who, and who could beat who, but at the end of the day one thing is an actual fact, to this point in the franchise, no one has defeated in the Giants in a playoff game(or any game that matters for that matter).
Teams come into New York, throw everything they got at the Giants, and leave with their heads down. Eli is looking for one last superbowl run to add to his legacy. Maybe DRC will be the MVP again this year like he was last year thanks to Halo.

I have to disagree only because since we try to play a sim style league unless your down by major points nobody in the NFL would go for it on 4th down in their own territory.
So what happens in madden is one guy will go for it on 4th and five and get it because its really hard to stop crossing patterns in madden to begin with and he will go down and score then on the opposite possession the other guy will go for it on 4th down in his need to keep up with the other team realizing his opponent will never punt the ball so the game becomes a shoot out with very few runs because both teams will not play for a game of field position but points. So now with punting gone a major part of the game is missing everything is effected from defensive strategy to offensive play calling and you will start to see the rise of certain money plays being run on both 3rd and 4th down in the need to keep drives going and with it frustrations build and enjoyment of playing against other humans is really effected especially against rivals. To prove this point all anybody has to do is play a bunch of ranked online games with the community how much fun are those things.
I think the success of the league is based on the format we have created because it does keep games closer and in some instance more competitive especially against guys with different skill levels.
You cant tell me there is nothing more satisfy then stopping your opponent on 3 and 3 knowing he now has to punt
I LIKE when guys go for it on fourth. That's an opportunity.

Chargers- Will the rookie QB play big in the big game? Will the history of choking in the playoffs continue? Will his defense be able to stand up to a team built to run. Will he be able to stay turnover free. Will he win the turnover battle.
And Finally, will it matter? Because the winner of that game gets the Winner of the Giants 49ers who are sure to be a betting favorite in the Super Bowl
On a serious note though, Adder gave me a hell of a run for my money. He was up 12-0 until 2:30 left in the first half. I had 2 turnovers and a punt on 3 drives. Holding penalties were killing me and I couldn't open a hole to run the ball effectively to save my life. Was able to execute a touchdown drive and close the gap to 12-7 right before half, and the momentum swing was all it took to snap my team out of it. Game ended 23-12. Mariota had a really off 2nd half and missed some key throws he should have made.
Looking forward to taking on the NFC winner to see if the AFC can finally get one on the board in this league...or at least improve on Halo's 0 point effort in the previous Super Bowl
In the second half Marriota had a chance to even up the game but on two critical drives he totally missed wide open WRs running down the field. The chargers then set their trap to seal the game waiting for the Titans to run commit on a obvious running down the colts instead ran a go route to Gordon and took a 8 point lead. Then in the last mins of the game the Titans try to make one last stand to give its offense a chance to tie up the game but the chargers hit a 60 yard field goal that bounces of the cross bar and goes in to kill any chance for a last second comeback.
His team looks poised to take a jump in talent next year as he has a QB who is likely the best in the league and a RB who is pretty solid as well. Needs to add depth at WR and QB but his team is set up to be strong for the remaining seasons of the franchise.
As for the CPU trade - the problem is that Kap didn't have a bonus on his contract. So trading him vs. releasing him accomplished the same goal for Polar regardless of how he did it. So he's financially in the same position he would have been in otherwise. Are we supposed to trade for CPU picks? No. Is a 5th round pick going to make or break the franchise? Probably not, but I get that rules are rules. There really isn't a way I can "punish" him that won't be entirely arbitrary. He's apologized to me, and I'm not going to push on something that might potentially make someone who plays all their games and plays the right way quit the league. Especially when we only have 4 NFC players as it is.
On another note, hoping to get the Super Bowl in tonight. Let's see if Mik can't be brought back down to Earth.

On to the Superbowl, I am glad the Chargers made it and hopefully the game will be close because in the event I win I'm hoping we don't get the traditional "I don't care anymore, I'm quiting" Colts Response. The Giants will have a ton of roster turnover this year as some older high priced players will be playing their last games in Blue.
That was my exact response after adder whooped my ass in the divisional round. I woke up in the fetal position with a pacifier 😭

The Chargers mounted a bit of a second half push but it was not enough as the Giants Held on for a 23-15 victory.
On to the offseason, I got hit real hard by regression. Guys that aren't that old taking big hits in stat areas that will affect how they play. Jenkins, JPP, Harrison among others took pretty large hits. We would also like to thank Victor Cruz for his time in NY, he was the first cap casuality as his release opened up 8.5M dollars, it was sad to see him go but the salsa will live forever in Giants Stadium
Hey I made it in madden 16, I think i beat Colts n Mike on my way
Also if anybody is interested I will be willing to trade Marriota for a 1st and 3rd round pick. I have decided to take my team in a new direction in my offensive game plan.
The Giants were shut out aside from 1 field goal in the second half and the Chargers put up all they could and were able to effectively hold back the Giants offense. An unfortunate series of 3 straight drops (including one on 4th) killed a Chargers drive in the red zone with 5 minutes to go. Chargers scored and got the 2pt conversion to make it 23-15 with 1:30 to go, but a failed onside kick later and it was over.
It was a good overall game that could have been great if not for the Chargers defense late arrival to the game. Just have a few more pieces to the puzzle I need to add for the team and they should be dominant for the rest of the franchise.
The Giants offense went into shell mode in the second half nursing a big lead knowing the defense wouldn't let us down.
the stats off the top of my head is 88 speed I think 90 throwing power play action is 90 good short and medium accuracy but deep ball is lacking I would need to look to get hard numbers.

Alex you might need to clear your mac setting in your network I had the similar problem playing crick in the playoffs and that fixed the issue. Also resend that trade I would like it to go thru before my next game so I can work on the guys before my game with mike

You seem pretty confident which is good. I hope you are prepared to play a perfect game because that is what it will take. Especially when you are built to pound the ball as you are. I drafted 4 lineman in the draft hoping to pull one to plug in at RT which was an abyss for me last year. I played the beta and I liked the customization of the character and the open world looked cool but I was bored with the combat really fast and unless I have 3 other friends really into I wont play it much so I will pass for now maybe if its on sale later I will pickup.

It is much better when friends are involved. I am waiting a bit to get it but just curious if anyone is. I am more into the Division right now, the new update they did brought in some new stuff that made it exciting again

I've never had any thumb issues from using the sticks in this game. They make extensions for the sticks so maybe those would put less stress on your thumbs? I have no clue.
I haven't played Ghost Recon for a couple weeks. My crew I normally play that with just picked up Mass Effect so they're trying to power through that. I got MLB 17 last week so I could have something to play for myself (and I love it). I do enjoy Ghost Recon when I'm playing with friends. It would be a very boring game to play otherwise.

We have a huge game the last one of the season it could be for the Division so take your time coming back I don't need another nail bitter like the OT game we had last time.
Playoffs are around the corner, and the Chargers are well on their way from coming back from 0-3 to the #1 seed in the AFC.

Halo and Vortex said they're both done. Mr. B hasn't played a game in forever because of all the other games he's bought recently. We're going to be down to like 4 or 5 people...
I will keep playing when I can. I still like playing the computer and when I get my human games in as well. I do have several upcoming trips but I will just put my team in auto pilot. We should think about advancing once more every week and stick to the schedule.
I also have an idea for next year. When draft time comes around , in the order from worst to best we should be able to trade picks with the cpu. So say I was the last of the humans I could trade for the number 1 overall pic. And then we would continue on down the line. The swap would have to include both firsts and whatever role the cpu required. I think it's a way to get some of the studs in the drafts on to human teams to be developed

I fear I will face a similar fate the C/B has built a strong team this madden. I was just never able to build up my secondary like I wanted and the drafts produced very little talent after the First round for CBs
