CB Trevin Wade

Postgame vs. New England, September 1, 2016

Q: How big of a game was this for you?

A: It was really good to show everybody that I can play in this league and on this team. That is what I tried to do today, is just go out there and play.

Q: It seems like since Leon Hall got here, it has been tough for you to find a spot?

A: Yeah, I just do whatever I can. Wherever coach wants to put me, that is what I am going to do and try to make the best of it.

Q: Where do you feel you are right now?

A: I don’t know. That would be a question for Coach Spags or Coach McAdoo.

Q: The way you started this game with those big plays had to help though?

A: Yeah, it helped. Like I said, this is my second year in this defense, so I got some experience and I know the defense now, so I can worry about other things rather than just my job. I can do my job and more.

Q: How much did it help that here you are in the fourth preseason game and you are playing against Tom Brady?

A: Yeah, it was a good test. I played him before, last year, so you just have to go out and play against whoever is out there.

Q: There are so many versatile guys in this secondary. How is the dynamic in that cornerbacks room with competition and fighting for spots?

A: I think it is really good. At the end of the day, you just do what you can and it is up to the coaches to put the best players out there for the team.
