The TEAM bought the helicopter (I'll take his word for it rather than rank speculation that Airbus "is thought" to have given a big discount or free helicopter). Team certainly paid for one if not both helipads. And will very likely pay for he pilot(s), fuel, and maintenance.
And then at the next CBA negotiations the owners will complain about how costs are going up so much and the players will have to take a lower percentage.
