CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

September 28, 2016

Q: Is this injury something that you have ever dealt with before?

A: No.

Q: What have you been told about it?

A: Nothing really. All you can do is treat it and let it heal, but it isn’t stopping me from doing certain things, like running and stuff like that, so it isn’t too bad. I just have to get it stronger.

Q: So you have done some running already?

A: Yes, sir. Light stuff.

Q: So do you think that based on what you have been able to do that you can play against Minnesota?

A: Definitely. I feel like it is a game that we are going to need everybody, so the main thing is to stay heavy on the treatment and continue to strengthen it.

Q: Since you have never had this injury before, how are you going to gauge if you are ready to go?

A: We have got some guys that can definitely do it in practice, so you go against your teammates and you see how it feels there.

Q: How important is it to get a win on Monday after coming off of a loss at home?

A: I think we will definitely be able to bounce back from it. Like you said, you lose one at home and to go down into a hostile environment and play a team that is playing very well, to go down there and get one would put you right back on track.

Q: What kind of pressure does their offense put on a defense?

A: They balance it out. They run and throw the ball well. When you are looking at their play count, it is kind of even, pass, pass, run, so I think they are a balanced offense.

Q: Do you think that you lost a golden opportunity to go 3-0?

A: It was definitely a tough one. One that we felt that we could have won. The thing about it is, you get back to the fundamentals and understand why it happened and go get you one.

Q: Do you think you will practice tomorrow?

A: It is day to day. Depending on how I wake up and how it is feeling, but the key is to go out and do some things.

Q: Does Sam Bradford look different?

A: Yeah, I mean he is playing with a little more confidence, but if you look at the scheme of things, it is still Sam Bradford. You always knew that he could throw the ball and the things that he can do, but I think he is managing the game well and he has got his run game and it is a lot of safe things. It has been his second or third week in the offense, I think this week they will open it up more and show you some different things.
