Q: Running and sprinting, was it just today the first time you opened up?

A: Yeah, a little bit today and yesterday a little bit as well.

Q: What do you think you need to see? What’s the next kind of checkmark on the way?

A: Next practice we’ll see. If I’m able to do everything, then we’ll see.

Q: Mentally, I’m sure you’ve started to breakdown film of the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. You’ve seen Brees, and now you’ve got Rodgers on the docket. As far as guys who’ll be in Canton one day, I’m just curious, from your perspective what does that feel like?

A: It’s great, it’s part of the job, you go against the best. Aaron Rodgers is definitely one of the best throwing quarterbacks. He can make all the throws, great arm, very accurate, so he’s played some good teams.

Q: You’ve been open from the beginning of the season talking about the star receivers that you might have an opportunity to cover. I’d imagine Jordy (Nelson) and (Randall) Cobb, you’ve seen a lot of them, what would that opportunity mean to you?

A: It’ll be big. it’s going to be a big opportunity for everybody that’s playing out there. We have a lot of guys that are hungry for this and it’s going to be a big game for us. It’ll be about us winning our individual matchups and take it from there.

Q: It’s been a while since you’ve been able to go into a game and feel like your secondary is complete with you, DRC (Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie), and Jackrabbit (Janoris Jenkins). Does that change things when the three of you are out there? I mean no disrespect to any of the other guys who are filling in, but it seemed to be such a strength with you guys out there.

A: Yeah it’s tough, but when it’s three guys out there and you’ve been practicing and you got the communication down and somebody gets hurt, you have to put somebody else in. Some of that stuff messes you up a little bit, and some people have to play positions they’ve never played before, but that to me is life. What happened last week is that guys played positions they weren’t used to and that’s tough, that’s probably one of the hardest things. Of course, corner is already one of the hardest things to nail down when you’re playing. It always takes a while to get the communication down, it’s going to be tough, but it’s definitely good when you’re with somebody and communicate and all that. That’s what DB’s are all about, just communicating and trusting guys and all that stuff. Once we get everybody fully back to power, it’ll be pretty good. That’s what we’re hunting for.
